No wiggle room & the display shows "f--", just as if it was still in manual mode. I think this bad boy is going back to the store.

Hi Folks,
Just purchased a bigma, but the "A" setting on the aperture ring isn't being read by my K10d so all "A" shots are at F4.0. :( Yes, I did push the button on the aperture setting ring and rotate it all the way to the left side of the ring, & yes it is locked in the "A" position.
Any ideas besides returning it?
