Thanks
Please respond with your findings. The battery is installed correctly and the battery life screen does not show the grip battery (in my case). It's a knock off grip. I try setting the function to grip first and it always resorts back to auto. Brand new K-5iis. Old grip from my K-7. My local store does not have a grip to try separately. Please let me know if both batteries show up on your aftermarket and genuine grips (in the select battery screen). Aside from that the grip works and the battery life has stayed full for +100 shots.
Thanks again

Thanks so much. I almost bought another grip thinking it had a problem. I agree. It is a bummer. You just saved my $. I wish I can buy you a beer.

Hello
Just checking. WHen you have the D-BG4 battery grip on your k-5 or K-5iis does it show a charged battery in the "select battery" screen? My knock off grip works but the batter in the grip always shows empty (not there). Just wondering if this is because it uses the body battery first and then moves onto the grip. Once it switches will it finally show battery life for the grip battery. In my mind it should show battery life in both slots all the time. Right?

Hello everyone. I managed to upload some more pictures of the Rally I went to last weekend. These were taken in Bancroft at the Tall Pines event. Overall a must see if you are into any type of motorsport. It's not WRC but it's fun seeing the sponsored Open class cars.
Here are a few I took from the event. Notice that some of them are pics from the continuous drive mode. I had the camera on jpeg ( I normally don't) and set it up for continuos focus and continuous drive. I managed to get 7 or mroe pics of each car and many of them were in focus. Who said you needed a Nikon. ANyhoo, I was really happy with the K7 and DA50-200. I just got my DA50-135 and wish I could have tried it out instead.
Enjoy. CC welcome. |

Thanks Rense. I was born in Soest and moved to Canada when I was 4. Most of my family is still there though. I love visiting them.

Took these a couple of mornings ago on the lake near my house. I am quite pleased with some these. Hear are a few from the shoot. The lake was warm and the temperature was below freezing so the lake had some character.
I think I'll submit them to PPG. |

Hello everyone. I'm a first time poster on this forum. I had no idea it existed. I've been on the dpreview boards for some time.
Went to the rally of the tall pines in Bancroft yesterday. Here's a taste of what I captured. I have a few more to post but my basic flickr account is full
Hope this is worthy of a first ppost to this forum. |
