THanks for the clarification/round-up. I am planning on getting 2 flashes, so I may just go with the 560. Two flashes+trigger would be $160 versus going either of the other two routes. I wasn't aware that I'd need a Cactus for both the body and the flash. I might move to that down the line, but I think startign "cheap" might be worth it first. To see if I really get much use out of them.

Pentax Kx with an older Pentax 100m Macro. Just purchased a K-3 ii so I'm excited to start using that one.

From a couple years ago when I went to Europe, but I had never posted them. Been getting back into photography so I've been running through some of my older stuff. |

Those shots are amazing. I just got the Pentax 100 macros and I'm definitely having a rough time getting bugs to stay still long enough to get them in focus. Coudln't imagine gettign shots like yours.

So I posted back in August about being interested in a Pentax 100 or a Sigma 17-70. Well, I actually ended up getting both. Found the Pentax 100 for $150 (non-WR version) locally and bought a Sigma 17-70 Contemporary off someone in the forums. Additionally, about 20 minutes ago I ordered a K-3 II to replace my Kx. Pretty excited for the new body. Recently printed off a few of my shots and I'm hoping the K-3 helps with some of hte larger prints. Here are a few shots I've taken so far. Haven't had too much of an opportunity for animals/bugs.

What do you think of the blue? I was really close to getting it, but I'm glad I got the 50-200mm white kit instead. I really like the 50-200mm lens
