SMC Pentax-A 15mm 1:3.5 manual focus ultra wide-angle lens. This is a hard-to-find and legendary ultra wide-angle lens for the full frame Pentax A series film cameras or for digital SLRs like the K-5, K-x and K-m behaving as a 22.5mm lens due to the FOV crop factor.
You will be getting a 22mm lens with perfect rectilinear perspective and the SR anti shake system in camera.
I bought this lens last year in a old camera shop in London (paid 550£=649€, condition-like new). To be honest i bought it because it was the most beautiful lens i ever seen (and for my luck it was a pentax), i never use it much because i was planning to take wide b/w street photos with it, but at the same time i got the lumix lx3, and the leica 24mm f2 lens on it was perfect for street (and the big glass of the 15mm scared people away:eek:).
Why am i selling this masterpiece?
I could never imagine myself selling my crown jewel, but i really want the new k5, and i cant justify to my wife a lens just for contemplating on the leaving room shelf :(
The price is very fair and final (ebay prices are between 950€ - 1300€)
KEH store offers me 500€(so you can imagine what the selling price will be for this lens)
I never had to sell or buy equipment internationally, but in this case i have to, because there’s not to many pentax shooters in Portugal, and interested in buying a collectors lens like this one.
So in a month this lens goes to ebay.
