i ended up using the mz 50 to fix the mz 10, and sold the m 50 for parts, never ended up finding any reppair manuals

i think a 8 gb would be good, but theres alot of good points not to, but i rather have 1 then 4 cards

very true as you cant beat a external flash.
but i would like to get it working with out using a finger to hold it up,as its nice to have a few nice 100 % full working pentax kits

ill have to give that a go, i recon but i might find another older style veiw finder as this one is in great nick and is a part of a nice mg/me super kit that i would like to keep it with. if i can find one ill just follow your lead

i have an pentax 90 degree view finder in mint condition with orig leather pentax case for the older style slr i was hoping it might fit the k100d or the k10d ?

hi every one
i have a mz 50 that will not fire when you press the shutter button it just makes a wirring noise but nothing happens
any ideas people ?
and where could i get a repair manual for free lols ?
i also have a mz 10 (pz 10) with a flash that wont pop up does any one know if i can swap the parts ? it seams to be a common problem with these

Hi guys and girls a few questions
The camera is in full working order EXCEPT the pop-up flash . The flash works, but will not pop-up when released.
i have a mz 50 that will not fire when you press the shutter button but the flash works are the parts interchangable ?
any ideas people ? and where could i get a user manual and or a repair manual for free lols ?

i picked up a p30t body last week in good working order for $40 au with a sigma mini wide 21:2.8 F=28 mm muilty coat macro lens had it check out and run a few rolls of film through it and all seam to be fine, exect one of my lenses keeps comming up with blur/haze and its near new. any way it goes well with the rest of my pentax gear and is a bit more of a camera then the mg but i like the look of the me/me supper better.

thats a full on add but ive brought a kit so ill see how i go.
any one got any tips on cleaning the black goo of the plastic view finder above the mirror ?

sweet so the k10d will take the old k mount for manual focus and the mz-s it a m42 mount ? so i c=take it the z70 will take k mount then aswell in manual only buy the look of the chart. ?

Wow $2.95 for developing and scanning thats like $3.50 au
Ive been think along the same lines but over here im looking at around 12 to 20 au dollars to get a roll of 24 film delveloped and more again to put them to cd's, even to get two digital prints of a memory card is $1 au to have them scanned on papper.
I also have hunderds of negitives and photo,s on papper (from traveling and general family photo,s) i would like to scan to my computer and make back ups,and sent to the rallies that live long distance by email or witht he scanner i could chose whats worth getting printed put them on cd then just take to ones i wanted printed or blown up to the lab to save money.
So if i was to get the lab to scan 20 rolls of film i would be looking at $300 or more au dollars when i can pick up a Plustek Opticfilm 7200 new with fee shipping for $379 au, or the slightly faster 7200i for $450 au with free shipping, but i cant forget to add up the price of the rolls of film as its around $14 au for a box of four kodak 400 no frills film
As i have only recently started in 35 mm film i have only taken around 100 shots just to get to know the camera as its hard when i have to try and rember what ive done what settings ive used the wait for the spare coin and to get the shots printed then come back home and figer out whats work and whats not.
The scanner seams like a good i dea, and im sure half my family could get good use out of it and it would very easy make its money back in the first few months by saving me money and time going down to the local lab.
There is always the thought why not got digital as save the hastle, but the price of the dslr,s is a bit ouchy and i thought ill learn on the older style slrs then once masterd them have a go at the dslr, its a pitty i like the older style slr,s
Also i have a few nice k, ka, m42 mount lenses (most k mount) and a few more comming and have a nice little colection of pentax and zenit slrs with all the fruit, it would be to pain to start over and go all out new dslr with new lens and in auzzie they arent cheap and every one tells me you cant use the old lens on the new dslr.
As i have a baby on the way any day now and i dont ern as much money any more as im working in town so i can be home every afternoon to help start the new family i just dont have $2 k to go dslr but $400 for a scanner is more easyer to swallow so ill do some more thinking and try and convice the boss and see how i go.

thanks guys you have been a great help, but one more question is there any other newer slr that will take k and ka mount lenses ?
and is there any dslr that you can use the k mounts on.

so are these scanners in general any good realy ? i heard you can scan pic,s at 14 mpix but ive never seen a scaned 35 mm negitve so im not sure how good they turn out in the end. or is the $400 pluss dollars better of getting spent towards a pentax dslr

thanks i wondered what cripped ment out of the 5 or so lenses i have some being almost the same i have 2 lenses with a settings one 28 mm simga and a 70/200 mm sigma macro.
just one more question are the cameras any good ? if you can only use them in a settings it makes you limited to what you can use them for ?
