HD Pentax DFA* 70-200mm f2.8 lens in good condition (some signs of wear).
Glass is in very good condition. Comes with front and back caps, original hood, an arca-style dovetail plate on the tripod mount, and a B+W 77mm Slim C-Pol. Original box.
Thoroughly enjoyed this lens. But as with other equipment I will soon be selling, health problems have ended my photographic work. My bad luck is your good luck. May it go to a good home….

Out of the blue, my K-1 started malfunctioning. Now, when I turn the camera switch to "on", part of the top screen works, the back monitor doesn't show anything, no info shows up in the viewfinder, and the camera acts dead--except for the light on the back that shows processing activity. Worse(?), when I flick the switch to "off", the processing light on the back doesn't go off. I have to remove the battery to shut it down.
Ideas?

Just took some images of flowers in my lot, all RAW. The thumbnails looked good in the camera, as they did in File Explorer on my desktop. Pulled them up in Photoshop and they look at least partially corrupted. Tried with a different card (took the same shots) with the same results. Pulled them up in DCU 5 with the same results.
Anyone know how to trouble shoot this? It's not the SD cards, unless two have become corrupted at the same time.

A friend just handed me his K-50 and showed me it was taking black photos. After a variety of testing, I have determined, using a lens with an aperture ring, that it shoots more or less correct exposures at smallest aperture and then progressive darker shots as the aperture opens up (same EV throughout). So, at f22 it works well enough, but moving down from there to f4 produces darker and darker images even with the shutter speeds adjusting to keep the same EV.
Diagnosis?

Item Description
I have owned and used this lens for quite a few years; it has been a workhorse and worth every penny. Not nearly as heavy as the Pentax D-FA 70-200 that I just bought. It is sharp, relatively fast and relatively quiet. Some years ago, I sent the lens to Sigma for a CLA and asked them also to tighten whatever was loose in the barrel. Not only did they do all that, they also quieted the AF and did all the work for free. I am grateful to Sigma for their good work. The lens has the usual scuff and wear marks from use, but it has no dents or serious flaws. The glass is good (the usual light dust). I will miss this lens. It has plenty of good use left in it for its next owner.
Comes with original hood, soft case and box. I have attached a neoprene strap to the case to make it easier to carry. Comes with Sigma back cap and non-original front cap.
Price includes insurance and shipping, if CONUS. PM me if you want it sent elsewhere. Paypal only, please.
