I just popped in to my flickr after a long break, and saw all those amazing pictures by you guys on my front page! Aapo, Matt. Joe, Rod, Pat, Jack, and everyone else whose names I don't even know! You've inspired me to take on another Single in... challenge! Thank you guys, and see you soon!

I'm in for July. I've just ordered myself a Q, but that has to wait 'til August. As I'm always on the move, and quad skating a lot I need something compact so it can't be the 50-150. I'm tempted to give the 50/1.7 another go... I'll see which lens produces the best images today and go from there!

Just got my Sigma 50-150 f/2.8, and I feel like I should give it a proper test drive. So if I can figure out a way to travel with it I'm in with that one. I also need to recover a bit from the flu that's currently driven me to the bottom of my bed. I don't think you'll be interested seeing my bedroom ceiling for too many days in a row :D

Went out for a little photo shoot. I found some nice spots, and instead of my normal, more natural looking pictures I ended up trying something a bit different. I would be most grateful for your opinions on these two pictures and their postprocessing.

A few from the 40ltd... It's a great lens, but I'm having hard time focusing it with my K10D, especially on subjects a bit further away.

Don't be afraid of commenting, we all see pictures very subjectively, so it's just best to say what you feel or see in the picture. If you think for example the composition is good, then it's your opinion and should be respected. It doesn't have to be anything special, simple "I think it's nice" is plenty. Besides when you start looking at other peoples pictures with thought you often pick up something new for your own pictures as well.

And one last note, there's nothing stupid you can say, it all comes down to opinions of a person.

I collected my finest from the summer and made a set on my flickr. Some of them have been introduced during the Single in... challenges, but if you're not part of that fun, these are all new. :) Here are a few of my favourites of my favourites, and the rest of my favourites can be found from my flickr

If interested, feel free to see more and comment either here or flickr, I'm always looking to improve!

Landscape Snowshowers

It's a nice landscape with pure and rich colors but I'd like the picture to be aligned with the fence on the foreground. Also I would for some reason like to drop a bit of the bottom part away. Now you have quite a lot of sky and quite a lot of foreground land, and I keep thinking which is the part you want to show.
Overall it's a good capture of a constantly changing landscape.
