Good cosmetic condition except for the eyecup which is ripped (The cushion around the viewfinder). It is purely cosmetic/comfort and doesn't affect the camera operations at all. It can be replaced for a few dollars.

Keep in mind this camera is rated for 300,000 actuations. You have another 150,000++ pictures to take before the shutter may need to be replaced. That is a LOT of years taking pictures for most people.

144715. The shutter is probably about half its life. The cost of shutter replacement is $200 to $400. I used to be a professional photographer. The camera has been used with a lot of care. Never dropped.

The lens works as it should. There are a few dents on the outside of the filter thread that does not affect the mounting of a filter. Please see picture.
Absolutely no fungus, no scratch on optical elements. There is some internal dust that does not affect IQ.
The lens comes with front and back caps, and the 2-part hood.

I was able to enjoy this lens only a few time before i dropped it from approximately 2 feet with the body attached to it.
The zoom ring is now stuck and the focusing ring is difficult to turn.
This lens is from Japan and is therefore a grey market lens. Tamron doesn't want to repair grey market lenses, and KEH cannot repair it because they can't get any parts from Tamron.
If you have any idea who would be able to repair it please send me a pm. Otherwise this lens is for sale, as is.
It's cosmetically perfect and comes with caps, pouch, paperwork and box. No visible dust inside.
No one has attempted to repair it. It doesn't sound like anything is loose inside. I do not know what it would take to repair it.

I have a Tamron 70-200 with the focusing ring stuck. This lens is a grey market from Japan. Tamron does not want to touch it. Any idea where I can have it repaired in the USA?
