Thanks all for the welcome! Between my post the other day and now I have purchased a used K-5 and a Tamron 17-50 / 2.8 😝
Now to give some thought to the best option for an external flash to throw on the K-5 at upcoming weddings and parties!

Hi everyone,
I've mostly been a lurker around these parts but thought I'd intro myself since I'm looking to step up my photography skills, whilst maintaining my limited fishing & golfing skills :P
I'm a proud owner of a K-r and a handful of cheaper lenses but will soon look to drop some coin on a K-3, faster lenses and a Metz.
I know it's not the equipment holding me back but you have to admit that it's fun buying new gear! :)

Hi everyone,
For those of you on FB... can you please comment on my photo at the link below so I can win a small prize that might help me towards a new lens (and probably a new golf club). The photo is quite bad but it was the best I could do at the time with a kit lens and a dirty sensor in an almost pitch black cave whilst balancing in a row boat :)
