Back in the 90's I used HP5 120roll film in a special drum camera for the photo-finish at horse racing. The roll was opened up and cut into half a roll then loaded into the camera, the other half was rolled up and stashed in a light proof tube. the Film was exposed the unloaded (in the dark of course, the whole room was a darkroom) and processed with dip and dunk method in 40 degree C dental xray developer for about 10 seconds, stop and fix. After the horse race results had been worked out the film was hung up with a peg weighing it down, after a while it would all be dry and all the films would be taken down, all stiff as a board and straight. So if you want to get rid of curl, hang up with a weight. Worked for me for thousands of films. I bless the day we went digital and never had to process film again.
