Hey guys. So I decided to jump ship and have bought a Nikon D750 and 14-24mm kit. Sadly I have a few nice pieces of Pentax glass. One being the famous F*300. I know it is possible with a converter (with glass inside) to mount this thing onto a Nikon body.....But is it worth it? Does anyone have experience mounting Pentax to Nikon?
Thanks

Been a very long time since picking up the camera. Headed out to the Awhitu Coastline (New Zealand) late afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the fire that appeared in the sky. Got very wet as the tide was coming in, and at times found myself waist deep with my tripod in the air, and gear on my back :D . Great to get out again. I'm sure the processing isn't to everyone's taste but it seems to be a popular thing these days using luminosity masks etc, and I quite enjoy the workflow :). Let me know what you think!

Yea it was a very still morning and mist rising up from the lake. The water was so still the plane wasn't moving (not enough to blur from a 2 second exposure anyway)

Thanks, the 2 seconds was just enough to give it a slightly softer look :)

A couple from an early morning at Lake Te Anau, Fiordland, New Zealand. The mist was rising off the lake as the sun came up. |

Something a little different for me. Really un-decided on it? Been looking at it too long I think... Does it work? :hmm: IMGP5229 |

ah you are correct. The first was shot with both lenses. Seems I used the tamron for that one. F2.8 worked a tad better :)

Hey people. I think I'm not too bad with post processing, however luminosity masks are something I have not yet looked into. Has anyone got good free tutorials links?
Cheers

Love your photos! Whilst I thought the 15 ltd wasn't that great for such shots, it seems the O-GPS1 gives it enough time to let the light in. Really cool

Thanks
The light at the time was becoming quite low and I had little time to prepare for this shot. We were moving on and wouldn't be returning. I have one other angle in Landscape but like this one best. At the time I decided to keep the background out as to keep it simple and to the point. I could have spent a long time playing around if there had been light
Shot using the trusty Tamrom 17-50 @ 50mm f9 4s. This is Alexandra Fall, NWT, Canada
Thanks for looking :)

One showing how subtle HDR can be. This is the way I like to use it :)
