Mine came stock with an extension tube. Decided to test it out at the gardens today. All taken with a Pentax Q.
Stopped down to probably f2.8ish?
Stopped WAY down, maybe F22?
These are all straight out of the camera.

Agreed, I've purchased from them too. No complaints here what so ever. And for less then 250 shipped, it's well worth it if you know an aspiring photographer who has camera envy.

Hmm, just last week I picked up an M50 f1.7, a Focal MC 135 f2.8 and a Gemini MC 28 f2.8 for a whopping 61$ shipped. I was pleased.

Have you looked into Crumplers? A 6 million dollar home might be just what your looking for.
Domke is also good, though I'm not familiar with their sizing, maybe someone else can help you out there.
What about going creative and picking up a nice messenger type back of your choice, and then getting some Domke inserts for it?

What about the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport? That shouldn't take you to long, would give you plenty of time for pictures at the beach, and a trip to Alsea Falls on your way back to I-5?

I tend to think interesting composition, is perhaps more important then color, shape, or quality of flower. One of my favorite flower shots, is of a dying daisy.

I have the 75-300 version. Little older, and macro only 1:4, but for the 130 I paid, Ii found it to be quite a little performer when asked of it.

Because fish scales are often so small and delicate, the high ISO stands more of a chance of mushing out all the details. (keep in mind, I shoot a DS, so I'm not to sure how the newer models handle low light, and high iso situations...)
I keep the lens wide open a) because you'll have a faster shutter speeds, and as a general rule, with as little lighting as most aquariums have, you'll need every bit of it, and b) because the background plants and fish can make the picture more distracting then just having one, in focus fish.

I have a couple quick pointers for yeah.
Turn off all the other light in the room except the aquarium lights.
Fill the tank to the rim, so there's no light seeping between the water, and the hood. If you can't, a towel or a piece of black plastic will be your best friend.
Turn off your flash.
Close your blinds.
Shoot at night, but after the lights have been on for atleast an hour.
Don't try and follow the fish. Just pick a spot and wait for the fish to swim into it.
I'd move yor light source right up to the front of the tank, to illuminate that part the most, and cut down on shadows on the fish.
If you have an external flash, get a wireless controller for it, and set it up above the fish tank. It would be best to set it off a few times, so your fish don't panic, and let them get used to it before you try and take any pictures.
Have lots, and lots of patience. They can be stubborn creatures.
If at all possible, I'd drop your ISO as low as possible, and open your lens up to atleast 5.6. If you can get it to 4, it's certainly not going to hurt it any. You might have to bump your ISO up if you have fast moving fish, but I'd keep your aperature as open as you realistically can.
And, most importantly. Show us some pictures, to see how you're doing!

The first one, is quite nice. Not much else to say on that one.
The second one is quite lovely, and I don't find the tilt distracting at all. I'm still trying to figure out how you managed to take it in the first place.
I'll agree with Peter on the third shot. It's quite lovely as it is, but I think losing the bird could really make it pop.
I'm not much for PP, so I can't help you out on Watercolours, but it does seem to me that there might be a little something missing from it.
Due home is another lovely shot. Hope there's enough of it there for a nice print. Altough, the horizon looks a touch off to me...
Scullers' Rest I love, though it seems a touch on the dark side?
I think you're right on Morning Stroll. It would benefit from being in black and white. I don't find the lamp posts to be distracting at all, they just add another layer to the repetition.
