This sounds just about perfect for me. Wish it had WR, but DR will have to do (for now).
Thanks, Ricoh!

Hi all,
For sale are my last two Pentax lenses. Sad day!
First up is the Pentax DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited, which is one of the very first Pentax lenses I ever bought. This one has seen a lot of use, but it's never been dropped or mishandled and it's never shown the slightest hiccup. It has always produced great images. The glass is clean and clear on both ends, but the body has significant wear and paint marks. This doesn't affect operation in the slightest, of course, but if you like your gear to look pristine, this is not the lens for you! Includes the original metal front cap and a push-on plastic rear cap. Asking $250 shipped CONUS, payment via PayPal. Next up is a beautiful copy of the Helios-44K-4 58mm f/2. This is a gorgeous portrait/normal lens made in the Soviet Union. Unlike many Helios-44 variants, this one is native K-mount--no adapters required! It's in great shape with clean glass, minimal dust, and just a tiiiiiny bit of handling-type paint wear on the ridged body parts. Focus is smooth, and the aperture ring clicks as you'd expect. Includes the original plastic push-on front cap with the Zenit logo, as well as the matching original screw-on rear cap. You can see some of my photos with this lens here. Asking $60 shipped CONUS, payment via PayPal.
Please PM with any questions!

Thanks for the additional info, Groucho! It's been a few years since I really shot with these, so it's good to have the clarification. Honestly, I'm not sure which way it behaves. There's no aperture lever, though, so I assume it's just stopped down already like the M42 lenses.

Sorry, I don't actually need each aperture setting. Brain fart when I wrote that.
You can do wide open, f/5.6, and f/11. That should be enough.
Since it's on a tripod, I'd go with base ISO.
Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your accident!
What we really need are some controlled test shots... could be something you could do from home, really. Just need to prop yourself up in a chair and snap off a few.
To be more specific, we need shots at each aperture setting, hood on and off, preferably at infinity focus. If you can also do the same thing at minimum focus distance, that would be helpful too!
Thanks in advance if you can help. No worries if not!

Still available!
And no, it doesn't stop down automatically. You have to use (manual) stop-down metering on Pentax bodies, like an M or M42 lens.

Hi all,
I'm currently working on a project for the site, rating all DA lenses for their suitability on the K-1's full-frame sensor. Adam took samples with all of the lenses, but it turns out that the DA* 200 shots are badly misfocused.
Is there a current DA* 200 / K-1 owner out there who would be willing to shoot some test shots to help us wrap up this project? Please PM me if so!
Thanks!
