It is actually the rubber grip on the ring that is loose. The focusing ring is smooth. I just need to stick it back.

Yes you are correct it is the grippy ring. Now question is : how do I fix this? I am travelling in Europe and won't be in the U.S for another few months. This is my spare 45mm so I could take the chance. I will investigate,thanks.

Hi
The plastic focusing ring of the lens turns without focusing. I have to press harder for it to focus. It does the job but itīs annoying and would like to fix this. Help anyone?

I bought that kit and found that the seals did not stick properly to the door. Has anyone else encountered any such thing?

I miss the smoothness of the Pentax bokeh and I don't like the color rendition.
And I knew it since day 1 and way before, I just needed the high ISO and stuff on that body.
I'd rather use some Sigma primes (yeah you heard me) than the Canon EF. I've tried some Canon lenses 35mm f2, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8 and I just don't like them...
I just got an old sigma 24mm superwide and I love it so maybe with Nikon, Zeiss and Sigma I could get something I really like!

Hi gang,
Long time no see.
To cut it short, I hate Canon glass (not a suprise I knew it from the very beginning but I needed the body).
There are some adapters around just like so
AF confirm to full frame.
Has anyone tried it?
I missed my 85mm, my 50mm, the 28-70mm star too but I doubt I could use that one.
Bottom line I want to use K or KA manual lenses on my 5D with Focus confirm and A mode.
Possible?

I was not referring to using that couple together.
I've seen plenty of TC 2xs being sold here. It never bothered me to use lenses with a TC at f8. It could also be used with a f:1.4, then it'll be f:2.8

I have a Konica RF, a Leica M6 and had a Konica AF fantastic with a stellar 35mm.
The G2 finder is a problem if you wear glasses. I love shooting with my rf cameras:small, sturdy and quiet. The M9 is a full frame digital RF a bit pricey and not that great in low light conditions. As far as I am concerned, I intend on getting a micro 4/3 to mount my M lenses on it and shoot film as long as I can.
