Thanks for this idea.
I will suggest "Basic Editing" and "Advanced Editing" to the club president. I think I'll also suggest "Traditional" and "Digitally Modified."

I joined a photo club this year which has a competition every month.
In addition to restrictions on size and requiring a mat, there were restrictions on image manipulation.
Allowed:
-sharpening
-contrast adjustments
-levels adjustments
-exposure adjustments
-cropping
Not Allowed:
-adding or removing objects or elements to or from an image
-extensive retouching or pixel manipulation
There was a decision at a special meeting last night to create a new category which is basically no holds barred. Now we are left with what to call these two categories.
We could just call them "Category 1" and "Category 2" but I'm looking for something descriptive. Some people said "Regular" and "Creative" but that implies that the "regular" photos are uncreative. Another person said "amateur" and "advanced" but that's not accurate either.
We came up "Digitally Altered" for the no holds barred category, but were left with no good ideas for the category that conforms to the rules mentioned above. "Straight Out of the Camera" isn't accurate because there are cameras that can produce HDR images within the camera itself.
Does anyone have any suggestions for naming the two categories?

I'm a newbie, but...
Could you crop out what looks like a red flower at the bottom right?

I'm using a Pentax-A 1:2 50 mm on a K200 on the AV setting.
On the lens itself, the f-stops go
2 - 2.8 - 4 - 5.6, etc.
When I control the aperture setting with the camera, the f-stops go
2 - 2.2 - 2.5 - 2.8 - 3.2 - 3.5 - 4.0 - 4.5 - 5.0 - 5.6, etc.
Can I use those intermediate apertures (like 2.2 & 2.5 for example) that aren't labeled on the lens?
When I manually change it, the lens goes from 2 to 2.8 with nothing in between. There is a stop between 2.8 and 4, however, even though it's not labeled on the lens.
Thanks in advance for your help
