If so where? Need one for my 55-300mm DA L tele lens. Two tabs broke off and are not under warranty because of the "type" of damage and I was looking to maybe DIY it.

Recently I sent my 55-300 lens back to the CRIS center for warranty repair. However because of the "type" of repair it required it was not covered by the warranty even though I told them what had happened. So anyway I was looking on B&H for a cheap solution and stumbled upon the Sigma 50-200mm tele lens.
Does anyone have or has anyone used this lens with there camera? If so I would like to know what your opinion of this product. |

I'm a radiographer so I know photographic concepts. Radiography and Photography are essentially the same with different settings if you will.I think I've developed this interest because of the profession I am getting into. Thanks for the incite everyone. Also Hood lenses do you buy the cheap generic or Pentax brand? If you have experience with generic how do the work?

I'll be getting a new Black Pentax K-r 18-55 and 55-300 kit next week and was wondering what if any problems do most people encounter with this camera. Also any tips or hints that might make assimilation easier because i only have a basic understanding. Thanks
