I bought my Pentax K200D about 3 years ago and it has worked great. I use a 18-250 lense and rarely use the external flash AF-360FGZ.

Problem: In the last 6 months I can't figure out why my photos are often over or under exposed when taking shots indoors when using the internal flash.

Details:
- I have it set the dail to "AUTO PICT" and autofocus and I use the internal flash.
- If I attach the external flash AF-360FGZ then it works fine.
- I think the issue started when I played around with the external flash while connected to my K200D.
- I already tried to do a reset many times but does not help.
- I did a firmware upgrade from version 1.00 to version 1.01 but did not help.
- Earlier today I took my gear to a local store and they thought it was an issue with D-RANGE being enabled. I took their word and took my gear home. But when I tried it, the problem is still there (while I have the K200D set to AUTO 100-400; I get to this by Fn then ISO, FN , and then OK).

Any ideas?
Thanks!
Ian
