Falke, you were right. somhow the exposure dial got changed. I corrected that and it fixed the problem. I want to thank everyone for thier quick responses.

I have a Kx and I just purchased a Tamron 18-200 mm 3.5 lens. When I take pictures in program mode especially in low light they come out dark. I switch to manual and they come out great. Is my Kx not adjusting correctly for this lens?

The shutter speed was 1/30th F-stop was F/9 and the ISO was 400
