So, I need to ask the guru's something hear.
I took my camera to TuttleCamera out here in long beach. People were friendly and I wanted my camera cleaned. Specifically some fiber is stuck behind the viewfinder. Tuttle camera informed me that they will send it to a lab to get me a estimate and to have it cleaned. I okay'd up to $35, and the man at the store told me it should be around 20 or so. I get a call today telling me to pick it up. I get there and find that they did not clean the camera, and they want $200 to clean the view finder. Does this make any sense? The manager said that he will check with another lab and see what they tell him. I am curious to see what you guys think. Camera is a pentax k-r.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the feedback. It looks like the flash still pops up. The only thing I did notice, is that there seems to be a piece of dirt or dust on the back of the viewfinder screen. I am going to go take this to my local camera shop to have it cleaned up. I saw a tutorial on how to do this yourself, but I am kind of weary about trying it on my own.

Ok everyone, I my just be a little paranoid, but I thought I would ask the guru's of pentax forum. I have a pentax K-r, and it took a little fall today from about 2 1\2 - 3 feet onto medum cushon carpet (body only). It landed on the in body flash (closed). I don't see any physical indications that it fell (dents or scratches) I was able to take only 2 or so pictures afterwards because the battery was dead. Should I be as worried as I am, or are they fairly durable?
Thanks in advance.

to be honest, I don't know what kind of teleconverter it is. One one side all it says is pentax for k\m and on the other side it says KR. Those markings and made in Japan are the only markings on the entire thing.

Okay before I start I would like to appologize for my ignorance in the science of photography. I have a pentax K-r dslr, and I would like to know two things.
I have a 2x Teleconverter that attaches to the camera via a km attachment, and it connects to the lens via a KR mount.
1) can I use this teleconverter with my pentax K-r camera body?
2) can I connect a standard KA lens to the KR mount of the teleconverter?
I appreciate the information!\
