I've been coming to the Pentax Forum for several years now. Back in the late 50's I got started in photography with a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Speed Graphic and a Leica IIIG. Then in the 70's I had a Pentax and an Olympus. Fast forward to the 21st century and I now play with a Pentax K-5, a K-7, and a Sony NEX-7, having just gotten rid of an Olympus E600 and a Pani G2. Micro 4/3 and 4/3 are nice for camera size, but I seem to get better results with a larger sensor.
I have adapters for Pentax lenses (SMC -A or M, and M42) for the NEX-7, and they have given me very good results. When looking at price AND quality, it's hard to beat Pentax lenses. For example, I have a Pentax SMC -M 50mm f1.7 that I bought for $90.00 on eBay, and it is sharper, resolves finer detail than the Sony 50mm f1.8 autofocus that cost just under $300.00. Yes, I do have to manually focus it.... but I grew up manually focusing my cameras, so no big deal. And, I can use all my lenses on my Pentax's (Pentaxi ???) and many of them on the NEX -7. :D
