I resume using integrated instant films as soon as The Impossible Project started.
Besides nostalgic, ability to do Emulsion Lift and close focus (SX-70), the new "Polaroid" integrated film have been a constant disappointment for me. Although it has been improved somewhat. It is still expensive (my keep rate is only 1:2 and there are only 8 in a pack), hard to find, short shelf life (sensitivity decrease) , light sensitive (first couple minutes), slow to develop and muted color.
Since most of the cameras that use these films are out of production, it is also hard to find one which function properly.
I rather go with Fuji Instax anytime.

Yeap, Hasselblad literally fell from the sky (lunar landing camera) to a just another brand name.
I am worry Nikon is going to to be the same, falling from International Space Station...
I worked with both extensively.:(

These lens front gizmos work best with 50mm lenses, although Lens Baby even made one for GoPro. Attached is the one on GoPro.
I tried different one on different lenses throughout the years and as ramseybuckeye pointed out - they are fun but the novelty vaporized within days even with a real fisheye lens.

I tried pro transfer, copy by camera and computer transfer Elgato as well.
Copy by camera is the least satisfactory because it depends on the screen that display the video and the camera can generate up to 30G of data with 1 hour tape.
Elgator is good but I tend to forgot where I put the dongle. It wouldn't work without the dongle.
Pro transfer is the best and they can compress it to smaller file (6G for 1hour tape), but costly. I use only local company as I don't trust postal or courier with my tapes.

I have three SEL mount cameras and love this one. Would like to buy it but need to pay Canadian Custom an arm and a leg to import it.:o

Was the original listing from 2014? They are selling it as a collector item or photographic item?

We are experiencing the same here in Canada, some Post Office even ran out of stamps. Amazon often deliver ahead of their estimation (longer than usual). DHL seems to be on the ball. I bought a lens from Japan and took only 4 days including weekend to get to Vancouver, BC.

Totally disagree!
Have you tried the Sony FDR-AX or Panasonic HC-VX series? They have much better auto focus, audio input/options, optional long running battery and less prone to overheat.
A few phones can shot decent 4K video, but they still do not have physical aperture or optical zoom which are important in making a smart video. They do excel in low light conditions, I admit.

Can you find a Pentax SLR or dSLR to check with the 300?

So, according to "business model", cheaper = better, right? As a user of Nikon, Pentax & Sony cameras, I care less about which "business model" their sensors are based on. It is more important to me that what they can render.;)

If you are thinking about the integrated automatically eject Polaroid 600 pack film which Impossible (call Polaroid Original now) make, it will not.
That Polaroid back is only for peel-away Polaroid or Fujifilm FP type manually pull-out-to-devleop pack film. Both have been out of production now.
Like Cyperjunkie said, it is only good as a 120 film camera now.

I love the NEX & a6XXX series and use them almost daily instead of dSLRs, BUT the battery cannot run more than 20-25 minutes of shooting and expensive.
I have to use AC adapter for shooting video or time lapse. Also, the camera heat up very quickly when shooting video and shut you down within 10 minutes.

I confirm the F1 predated both F3 & LX.
One of my college newspaper colleague use it. Nikon F2 was the king back then. It was big, solid, heavy and quirky. The F1 in contrary was lighter, more "user friendly" and you can add AE function, although the prism was expensive. I tried it on couple occasions and it was a joy to use. If it wasn't I almost drop his lens due to the poorly designed lens mount (an external collar), I may have gone with Canon.
Nikkor lenses were the benchmark back then. The Canon lens IQ was no match to Nikkor or even Minolta Rokkor. Those were the old days...

It definitely is a combination of Amazon deal and the slow selling nature of specialized lens. I bought it in November at a huge discount at Amazon.ca and the price ran back up the following day.
My experience with this lens so far is best with full frame for the T&S effect and @ f/8. The all plastic construction pretty much confine it to be occasional use only. I feel the T&S knobs and mechanism will worn out fairly quickly with regular use.

I used a Hero 4 on a car trip with this USB cord plugged to a Samsung 9000 mA cell phone power pack and it lasted me 8+ hours. They also make a cable for Hero 3 and I think Hero 5 can be powered directly from the USB port. GoPro Hero Solutions | Core SWX |

I bought a new Canadian D500 for ~ US $1,600 as soon as they went on sale here since Janaury. It is very fast & acurrate, although he connectivity and pixel count are so-so at that price range.

I owned an istD S for a long time and I don't remember the focusing screen is user replaceable. The AF sytem on that camera simply cannot cope with any dim light (e.g. dusk to dawn outdoor) situation. It was extremly hard for me to manually focus any slow (500mm) even with Katzeye screen in a K-5.

I love my A6000 for its' size, Zeiss lenses (much slower focus with them) but it has no in-body OS, weak battery and insane manual layout. It cannot replace a good dSLR system for sure.

Aero photography is what draw me into drone, but one can only trust half of what the manufacturers (including DJI) claim about their performance in battery, range, camera IQ and support service. The range and battery time are very limited unless you are in an open area and warm fine weather.
It is an expensive endeavor to pursuit, not just the parts are expensive and you can write off the entire drone easily in an accident. I lost 2 drones so far, one due to WiFi range over water and the other also due to signal lost when flying around an iron bridge. I also know people got warning from Transport Canada after thier drones "flew away" or have to pay damages caused by their drone!
The footage & photos are awesome when you got everythings right though.

I do not have personal experience with their camera but it seems they have some teething problems. You can see the discussion between a few owners in the film photography forum which I am also a member: My Ondu Pinhole Has Landed |
