I just got my much awaited Pentax K-5 today. I bought the a Sigma 28-70mm ASF EX f/2.8 about a month ago, bought new even thought it's an older lens.
The Auto Focus is working fine, however, when I turn it over to manual on the camera, it won't focus, the ring just turns freely.
As the lens is older, the inbuilt lens aperture setting has to be set to 'A' for auto, or the camera won't recognise that there is a lens connected. Could this be a part of the problem?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
