I hope my answer wil clarify or sort things out.
For every conceptual shot that I take,I try hard to create somenthing that will impress the viewer.I have the concept for every shot but also I like to let the people come up with all their preferred points of view.
Please check out Cainta(Repentance in Eglish) by a not well known film director.Tenghiz Abuladze.
This movie is part of an antitotalitarian film trilogy "The Prayer", "The wish tree" and "Repentance"
I made this shot to represent the close conection between urban degradation and the " human actions" done wrong.
The ideea behind this shot is that the only way to stop all these harmful actions is to find a way to an urban repentance(that has nothing to do with the religious repentance).
The place where this shot was taken has suffered many changes in a little amount of time.
At my first visit there were many many houses that now are demolished and after that new buildings emerged from the ground, and all that was left behind was a great wall of suffering and silence.
I revisited the place after some time and saw the red quilt in the window and thought that I must take a photo when there will be a next time.
So after a couple of months when I found the model and she was already a redhead I asked her to come with me to the place of desolation.
Things changed dramaticaly in just a few months. The grafitti birds came along with the grown spontaneously plants. It was the right moment to take the picture and I did.I told the model what were my thoughts at that time about the place and she knew exactly what I needed to express the sadness.
Now everything is gone and there's not a single old building there, only new ones that could never reflect the feeling of "wrogness"
I hope these few words clarify a little bit on the concept.

Thank you for nomintaing my shot.
My concept for this image is well thought and probably hard to guess as are all of my shots.I preffer them to be ermetic in their explanations and let the viewer consider as he wishes, although behind every shot there is a strong concept.
You should think of it of a more of an interpretation of a repentance, the ideea behind the shot of refers to an urban repentance and how to find the peace within respecting the urban landscape.

Hello,I haven't seen any recent activity on this thread.Recently I observed that i have this issue with the dial button and also with the green button. So now my iso changes very fast from 200 - 1600,and also when I try to zoom in ,it fast forwards to the maximum zoom option.I bought the Pentax K 7 in 2009 and since then I hadn't a single problem with it.I thought in the first place that it is a software bug but after updating the firmware and reseting the camera there is no change,it's still buggy.I've read all the comments and I would like to know if it is possible how much did it cost at the service because I'm sure there is no waranty now,and also if anyone can tell me how long do they keep the camera in service.Thank you.
