Great shots.
I don’t see any vignetting, and the pictures were shot at F2.4 I thought the DA lenses create vignetting with wide aperture. Did you make any corrections?

Thanks guys :)
And yes reh321, that’s what I intended exactly when shooting at f14; to avoid issues when the lens is wide open. That’s why it took 150 seconds to complete the shooting process with pixel shift for each photo :) ---------- Post added 01-08-2019 at 04:21 AM ----------
Indeed it is pichaser. By far, it was one of the best museums that I have ever been to.

Was at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm yesterday, and tried the SMC Pentax-A 28mm F2.0 lens on my K-1 with pixel shift for the very first time. It’s the same lens design as the Hollywood lens but with auto aperture feature. I consider myself very amateur when it comes to photography, but after seeing the results, the photo put a smile on my face. I shot the image in RAW as well as JPG. The image is literally straight from the camera without any PP. There seems to be not much info about the lens online. I figured I post some shots taken with the lens. You can take a look at full JPEG files straight from the camera by clicking on the flicker links below. I've also attached the links for RAW versions as well. I tried to capture the perfectly displayed Swedish art of ship making - and it had this amazing goth feel to it. Let me know what you guys think.

In my opinion, the wobble that I see from your video is nothing to be concerned about at all.

As a buyer, I wouldn't make a make a big fuss about minor cosmetic blemishes. After all, they are used lenses. Also, dust inside lenses is a fact of life, and It doesn't (or rather shouldn't) effect image quality.
However, wobbling barrel is something that might scare off some people. Everyone should understand that over time and extended use lens mechanics might get a bit loose. If only the barrel wobbles and not the focusing ring, then as a buyer I wouldn't worry about that as well.
That said, the 31mm that you are trying to sell does not have any barrel movement around the focusing ring as depicted in the youtube video found in this link, correct? You Tube |

I’ll be in London on Dec 25. Have it shipped to my place in Ottawa, Canada, and I’ll bring it over to UK for you. If you trust a fellow hardcore pentaxian that is.

It seems that there was a link between Pentax and Leica indeed. As Asahiflex from Germany posted the pic of his legendary 43mm f/1.9 lens (I wish I had that lens), this is what I found out about it:
"This Lens was manufactured for Leica-L mounts in Year 2000 by PENTAX. Only 2000 units were manufactured", and hence the words "Limited" or "Special". "It is the only Lens for which Pentax ever created for other Camera-Mount."
"The Optical Designer of the lens is a Legend Optical Designer, Jun Hirakawa in Japan. Optical system Design is the same as famous K-mount Lens FA43mm f1.9 Limited Lens".
I am not a professional photographer, nor am I an Optics Engineer, but it is said that the Pentax 43mm f/1.9 and Canon's recent 50mm f1.8 were the sharpest lenses ever made for optical use.
