I own a Z10. When I turn on the camera (slidding the shutter), the camera shows the startup screen (green mode), sounds some beeps and turn off. If I turn on the camera with some buttons pressed (image, ok, mode and so on) tha camera freezes and only returns after I unplugged the battery.
I red that could be the sensor of slidding shutter, but it is not the case (in my opinion).
Any help? Any advice?

I have almost the same problem... 2 weeks ago, the problem shows itself. I turn on the camera (sliding the shutter), sounds some beeps and it turn off after the beeps... No more than 5 secs...
Did you have success with your camera?
