Hello everyone
A quick introductory and greetings message to the forum members. I am really impressed by the tremendous knowledge and collegiality on this forum. I must confess that I have been too selfish in absorbing all this wonderful information for the last few months and not introducing myself properly. So here's a brief intro.
I have been keenly interested in photography for a few years although never really able to commit sufficient time. Hopefully this will change now as I invest more and more time in learning techniques, composition etc but most importantly more time in the field.
I was shooting film (Nikon FM3A) before, primarily with the pancake 45mm lens and the appeal of the Pentax Ltds was what attracted me in the first place to this brand rather than Canikon gear. And I am glad I made this decision. I am unarguably many years away from making the most of my K-5's impressive capabilities, but very eager to continue learning.
