Near my home I have a favorite "moonrise tree" and every time that the moon rises around sunset and I'm off from work I be hanging around that tree.....

My wife asked me what my all time favorite picture is...... That's a tall question because it changes with my moods....
But I think this one is probably it. I shot it in 2009 in Oregon on a hike with my wife. I was kinda disappointed when we got close to the water fall an all the clouds disappeared and all that was left was bright sunshine. I didn't know that this water fall was back in a ravine and still for a little while in the shade, but then the sun started to hit it from the side and above.....
This is Ramona Falls in the Mt Hood national forest in Oregon.

After A couple days of storm the weather finally cleared and I was looking for some rainbow shots near the Homestead Pond where my subdivision is located where I live. When Turned around the other direction suddenly the Western sky opened up for a brief moment.........
