Hi marc. Read your article about your tests with mirror lenses. Iīve had a mirror lens many years ago, and I loved it. Have had thoughts to get one again, since Iīm one a tight budget. Pros/cons on cheap/expensive mirror lenses seemed not to be as diverse as I thought. Have read that the mirror surface gets "worn" with age, with the result that the lens gets even more slow in effective aperture? Do you think a Samyang mirror lens would be a good budget choice for me?

If Iīve understood right the DA-L 55-300 f4-5,8 ED lens, has a plastic mount? Does it have any major disadvantages v/s a metal mount?

Maybe thatīs why Iīm confused. I donīt have a plan right now. The main part of my photography will be nature(especially water), some landscapes, low light and some wild animals.

Iīve read that the 18-55 lens is quite good. But the main change would be for the 80-200. Would like a bit longer range.

Iīm thinking of upgrading from the kit lenses for my K200D. But I get more and more confused:confused: by reading different lens tests and forums. What to choose when on a really tight budget? All help welcome.
