That is one a poster-like astonishing shot! I only wished the AD wasn't there, but you can't have everything ;) And the selective color works very fine here - and its rare it works at all. Good job!

Dear jeeez... I feel like it is me living at the end of the world now. No offense. FA 77mm costs 1100$ here and that's being the cheapest. Europe FTW.... And uhm, FA 31mm goes for 1600$ if you wanted to know.

Thats a hell of a photo! Good job. I only wished she was looking left at the window (I assume there was one), but I guess that wasn't the intention. Marvelous nevertheless!

From my own perspective changing the mount will make me move to Nikon prolly.
I do not have bags of money to spend left and right. I can justify spending so much on lenses treating that as an investment. And with that thinking I have bought FA 77mm recently. Paid 900$ for an used one hoping it will not drop in price drasticly and I would be able to use it on FF, one day obviously.
So at the very moment pentax announces new mount prices of all full-frame compatibilies go down the drain. Meaning a loss of hell lot of $$ which I cannot afford. And I simply won't invest in any (old or new) lenses knowing that the future of the K-mount (and Pentax in general) is uncertain. So they better announce a FF soon to diminish them rummors...

Thank you sir!
Chocolate bar and a red rose? Or is that a bit of a cliche now? ;)
I didn't like the top either, but left it to let the viewers know it was done out in the field, didn't want to have just a basic white blur behind.
As for the eyes, that was one of the sharpest eye I have seen in my life (and it's not thanks to me, but rather K5 and 77mm). Or you ment just focus on eyes in general portrait shots? :)
Either way, thanks again! :)

Oh thats a lovely shot. Great tones. It might (or might not) be over sharpened, but at the same time feels so soft on the petals. Would you hint a bit on how to achieve such effect? :) Thx!

Hello, everyone. I'm Adrian and I am a newbie here (or more like a silent follower ) and therefore I would like to introduce myself. And I guess there is no better way for a photographer to introduce himself other than showing some of his work. So here's the first one of many to follow I hope. Lucyna is a friend of mine that agreed to pose. And I owe her at least a chocolate bar for standing there in -12*C ! Keep in mind that I'm just starting with portraits (and photography in general) and every comment is highly welcome :)
Why Pentax? Oh everyone knows why already, don't you? :D
Greetings from still cold Poland,
Adrian
