I've never been too paranoid until a visit to (of all places) Roswell... I was wandering around with my K20, literally on the wrong side of the tracks, real close to the UFO museum. I guess I ventured into someone's "turf" & was questioned & followed for several blocks. Just shooting the old buildings and what not, following my eyes and not my head I suppose. The creepiest day I've had with a camera, for sure.
80% percent of the time, I have my k20 w/ DA 21mm or some other smallish-form lens. Never a zoom, and the battery grip is off... people run, duck & hide when they see a decent sized camera come out :-) I always have the iphone, the 4S's pictures are decent, if not a little noisy. I have my eyes fixed on a Fuji X100 / XPro-1 for walk-a-bout use... but do I really need another camera?

I have actually made it over to Maryhill - I knew nothing about the stonehenge over there until I randomly found it using google's satellite view. I'd like to go take some shots early morning or at twilight... it's a bit of a drive though. Besides, Maryhill winery wouldn't be open :-)
Ah, east Vancouver. We were out near Orchards for a while, now downtown. Nicer weather is coming... so I'm told.
