Well I'm going traveling for a few months so a wide lens for landscape and street would be nice. I also like portrait stuff (even though I have no idea about it) and I find the 50mm 1.4 that my friends all have a little bit too short, even on a cropped sensor. Not too keen on sport/wildlife atm.
Someone on the forum is selling a sigma 24-70 2.8. I think I might give it a go to get a feel for what i like.

Hi guys - I just bought a second hand K-7. It arrived today and I'm lensless. I'm thinking zoom sigma or tamron (maybe 17-50) and 2 primes - 31 FA or 21 DA and maybe 70 DA or 77FA. What do you think?
I've never had a SLR before.
