Spotmatic F shutter speed Dial stuck on '4'

Everything else works, Including setting the ISO. Will not move in any direction. Honeywell pentax service manual says that to remove the dial I would have to set it to B, which is currently impossible. Happened in normal use indoors.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.
