Great review of some very nice lenses. 100% crops are simply stunning!
When I was looking to buy my K-7, I needed a lens that was relatively close to the 35mm equivalent of 50mm, and the only options were the FA 31mm Limited and DA 35mm Macro Limited. 31 was out of my price range. Everything I read at the time pointed to the DA 35mm Macro Limited being the lens to get. I went for it and shot almost exclusively with it for the past year, and it's been a dream.
The newly released DA 35 Limited looks VERY nice. Unless you need the Macro capabilities of the DA 35 Macro Limited, this new offering from Pentax is clearly the lens to have.

Steve McCurry, the NG photog who got the last roll of Kodachrome to shoot, has been quoted as saying he uses Ektachrome as well as digital.
I used to use E100GX until Kodak axed it. E100G is pretty good but cooler in the shadows than GX is (was), so I'd try it with an 81A or 81B filter to warm it up a touch, should be relatively close.
There's also E100VS, but that's very contrasty, maybe too much for some people. It's sorta the competitor to Velvia 50.
You could also try Provia. It's a great slide film for street photography.

Once you've set the custom setting to accept your lens, you can set the focal length of your lens in the menu which will allow you to use shake reduction.
