Pentax 77mm and 100mm Macro Asking Price
390.00 USD Item Location
Bloomington (United States) Item Description
I am selling my Pentax 77mm Limited lens in box with all the original included items. The lens is in excellent condition with some normal signs of use. Works great, no issues. The glass is pristine throughout. $390 shipped, buyer adds fees.
Also available is my 100mm WR macro lens with both caps and hood. Again, excellent condition with some cosmetic signs of use but glass is pristine and everything works great. A super sharp lens. I am just trimming down and using less expensive zooms now, not taking as many pics as I used to. This is $180 shipped in USA, buyer adds fees. This lens has sold! PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Pentax K-1, 43mm, 77mm, 31mm Limited lenses, 90mm Tamron Macro, $3000.00 shipped Asking Price
3,200.00 USD Item Location
SE Michigan (United States) Item Description
Regrettably I am selling all my high end Pentax gear, I just don't use it enough. The camera and lenses are all in mint condition with the only slight marks on the lens caps. Everything works 100%. There are less than 2000 clicks on the camera shutter. The serial number is much later that the first few batches that had a Mode-dial issue (which Pentax did fix for each camera affected). The LCD has had an "expert shield" cover on it since new and an extra cover is included (if you want to try to put it on without making the tiny dust bubbles that I did). The Pentax lenses are all 3 "assembled in Vietnam" and all sweet. Glass is perfect, focus while on AF is smooth and fast, on MF is nice and even and perfect feeling. The whole set consists of the Pentax K-1 camera body, the 43mm Limited lens, the 77mm Limited lens, the 31mm Limited lens, and a 90mm Tamron Macro lens (which was New old Stock when I purchased it a few months ago). The camera and lenses come with EVERYTHING in the boxes as they had when they were new. $3000.00 shipped. I much prefer a postal money order (several due to maximum price limits on them) or personal check (which would have to completely clear prior to shipping), can take Google pay, probably bank of america (I have a charge card but don't know how payments work). Avoiding paypal. If your interest is serious I can email you more, larger images of the items. Thanks, Bob Nancarrow Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

Hi to all Pentaxians. I could use a little help selling this lens. I thought I put a very good price on it since it is virtually new, but so far, not even any inquiries. Is it my lack of using the site lately, or can this lens be found for much less somewhere else? Any advice would be appreciated. I think it should get more action so I'm wrong for some reason, just trying to find out the reason. Thanks in advance! Bob in Michigan.

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Pentax 15-30mm lens Asking Price
1,090.00 USD Item Location
Michigan (United States) Item Description
Selling an as new Pentax 15-30mm lens that I purchased a few weeks ago from Adorama. It is a USA lens with full warranty. When I got it I was shocked at the size of the lens and I decided not to keep it, I just don't use large lenses anymore, too old. I would return it but I used some discount points for the purchase that I won't get back so the wisest thing for me to do is try to sell it. It is listed for $200.00 less than the price I paid. The lens is like new, I've never even turned the zoom dial, the plastic protector is still on the lens cap edge. Hope the next owner is younger and stronger and will enjoy this lens. I have super good feedback on the auction site and also on well over 100 deals on Rangefinderforum.com. No worries at all. I'd love to save on the fees, rather not have this cost me much. I'll take money orders, personal checks, google pay, prefer friends and family if paypal but not opposed to regular paypal, but the buyer that saves me a fee will get preference. I don't check this site very often and the best way to contact me is through my email at nanthor@hotmail.com. Thanks, Bob Nancarrow in Michigan. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

I have never made a buyer keep an item they did not want. Not gonna start now. With this said, there should be no reason anyone would want to return this lens, it is as new, and only 3 weeks old. The plastic and tape shipping protectors are still on the lens.

As for me, $1500 is the cut off price. My dedicated 35mm scanner and flatbed do a great job scanning 35mm and medium format, respectively. As an amateur, I just need scanners that result in great looking a4's and a3's. Would love to have a dedicated medium format, but not if it's sky high expensive.

Hi, have they been shown to be better, worse, or just different than the later 43's? If different, does anyone know in what way, cooler, warmer, different rendition? I had a very early 31mm and wasn't happy with it compared to my 77 and 43. I recently bought another 31mm and it seems to be the best limited I've ever owned, so it's just a bit confusing that the qualities seem to differ over the years.

No, I don't know that the coatings are any different. I was referring to a post just previous to mine that made it seem like an early 43mm limited had different coating and special glass compared to the later 43 limiteds. I was asking the two posters who seemed to be discussing this if they could back up the claim. It would seem to me that no company would purposely make an inferior lens at a later date. An example would be Leica, as good as their lenses were back in the 70s and 80s, they have steadily improved the image quality with each new design. So the inference that an early 43mm would be special or better than one made today would surprise me. I think it's just creating lore.

OK, what's up about the coating and the glass? Are the lenses being made today worser now than the ones first built? Not wanting to start a big controversy but I would want to think that companies are always seeking to improve their quality, not go the other way. So what's the backstory on this? Thanks, Bob. (looking to buy some FA limiteds)

I keep missing out on these for sale on the forum. They go in the range of $650-$720. I'm looking for a black one, and made in Japan so it matches my other Limited primes. Thanks, Bob in Michigan.

Rick's a great guy and trusted seller, I just bought a very nice (perfect) 31 limited from him which was as described, packed well, shipped quickly. I wish I could buy that nice looking K7 but right now my K200d is all the camera I need. Bob in Michigan.

Maybe I thought it was friendly because I was used to it and it was easy for me. I'm not too savvy with feature filled software such as Lightroom, etc. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum so I hope this is the right venue to ask this question. I recently bought a k200d from a member here and it did not come with the Pentax software. Is there a place I can download this software? I looked at the Pentax site but could not find a download, just updates. I have the software on a previous computer that no longer works, it was from a k10d I had a few years ago but the camera and software have been sold. I currently use Photoshop Elements 9 which is nice but I remember the Pentax software as being very user friendly and would really like to install it. Thanks, Bob in Michigan.
