Just tried a factory reset on my stuck shutter K01. No luck. :-( I bought another one which is still working fine.

I like the detail and angle of the first one as well as the light and dark paterns across her body. Though I am not distracted by the background I can see how it could be. Some work in lightroom (or raw photo editor) to bring out the subject from the foreground? ---------- Post added 09-08-23 at 07:32 AM ---------- My wife likes the background. Makes her look like a saint in every day life.

Thanks. All those pics were adjusted and denoised in lightroom. Had a bit of an issue with the setup and everything was shot at 1600!! But those files clean up nicely!
I have 3 cameras and 6 lenses with me. K1ii, K-3ii and the D200. It was a tossup between the d200 and the k10d but been liking the images on the d200 lately.

I like the feel of the 2nd one though I can't put the feeling into words. Wide open but still intimate. I would hang it on a wall and image being there.

Yes that was part of the issue as well as having auto comp set. But it helps if one is changing and shooting in the same custom bank. I am still getting used to Nikon's menus and shooting logic.

thanks mike. I shoot mainly in Aperture mode, which is what the pics were set at. I did fine Exposure comp set to on and turned it off. Still wants to shoot at the highest ISO, not the lowest. I did reset the custom bank but that hasn't helped as well. Next I will try the complete reset. The camera design is old and Nikon so I am always a bit unsure of what the options do and I have 2 manuals on it. Very different than Pentax. But something about the camera and images that I enjoy using it. Here is the same pic after denoise and Auto updates in lightroom. Figured it out!!! I was setting Bank C but shooting on Bank A! And they are in totally different places. Thanks all.

Exif below. I found that it seems to favor high shutter speeds. I haven't found and prederence setting like in my pentax cameras. It does appear to be on some kind of sport settings.

On my camera minimum iso is 200. But no matter what, the camera shoots at the max iso. I set the minimum shutter speed to 1 sec and it still shoots at the highest iso pointing directly into a light. How do you set it to chose the lowest iso?

Hi All
I am normally a Pentax shooter but I picked up this D200 for its CCD sensor and it has grown on me. However, I have never shot with a Nikon and I have run into an issue with Auto Iso.
I took pics today in broad daylight with Auto Iso on with max set to 1600 and min shutter 1/60 and everything was shot at 1600. Can anyone tell me why? I know a Nikon forum might be a better place this forum is always so helpful.
Thanks for any help you can add.

Can't answer your question but the advantage of the k10 is in that ccd sensor. Wait until you see the photos and then decide which you want to use.

All the time when I am not inspired to shoot. I find it fun to relive the moment and update the processing. Been using Denoise programs and recovering some images.
