Great effort, thanks very much.
For those who do not know, it may be worth clarifying that each profile is created either from JPG (or TIFF) testchart shots, or from DNG testcard shots. The former type (only) will auto-detect and list out when a JPG image is being processed, the latter when a Raw image is being processed.
There is a straightforward "kludge" method of converting a copy of a Raw based profile so that it will show up for camera JPGs: Adobe lens profiles: Raw and JPG (LR3, ACR): Software / Retouching Forum: Digital Photography Review.
This is a single-line edit of the XMP file, merely changing a 'this is for Raw' entry from "True" to "False". Of course any in-camera JPG lens correction should have been disabled, if this is to produce the right results.
