does it move/does it start with some new DFA lenses, it's tiring to read on this forum about the possibilities of using K mount lenses on other new mount cameras or adapters that enable their use, for God's sake I will not buy K mount lenses and then buy another mount cameras to use them as a combination, I use ff K mount camera and I am interested in ff K mount lenses, so is there any news about any ff products related to K mount

I wouldn't agree with you one bit, I can't imagine how I would use the camera if I couldn't have direct access without taking my eyes off the viewfinder to the shutter speed/aperture/iso/or in addition to all that, the green button, I can do all that on the K1 and that makes that camera perfect for me to use, I wouldn't want to change those features for touch screen use, no thank you very much no

The DFA should meet the technical characteristics of the latest digital camera and optical on the latest sensors, i.e. it must have: KAF4 mount for fast focusing/minimal WR because all Pentax photobodies are WR/HD coating to improve contrast/SP coating to clean the front element/quick shift for helps with manual focus/sharpness across the entire range- edge to edge and not like FA where you can see the obvious difference from the center to the edges, FA lens characteristics are outdated and not able to fully represent the capabilities of new/latest Pentax DSLR cameras, DFA can to fully present the possibilities and quality of Pentax new cameras in every respect, one should accept the future because it is here and not live in the past and adapt that past as the basis of the present and rely on it in the future

I've seen a lot of professionals taking photos of parties/celebrations with "old dslr equipment" + new mirrorless, all from the same manufacturer, taking photos with two photo bodies and recording video with a third photo body, flashes+lenses+photo bodies exceed 20 k euros and all from one manufacturer, I have not seen a single professional who has Pentax equipment in any combination to do such a job, Pentax cannot be put in the category of professional photo equipment for professionals, I know one professional who used a Pentax 645 and switched to
Pentax ff and in the end it ended up on fuji (my circle of acquaintances is a very small circle of photographers), so I don't see in the near future a photographer who would spend 20 or more k euros for a photo set of equipment or canikoson for professional use to switch to Pentax , , would like Pentax to pay more attention to current users and to provide them with a much larger alternative choice of OEM equipment and that would create conditions for new users

when Pentax does not offer us the opportunity to talk about the characteristics of currently existing new cameras/products, but instead offers us the topic of what would happen if there was, and the topic of what will be when it will be, and the topic if there will be and when it will be, Pentax is in every in terms of very inspiring for its users who try to participate in such writing about Pentax (and I personally try to write in this way about Pentax as support)

canon, nikon, sony, fuji, they turned their production of photographic equipment by 100%, cores from scratch, new camera technology + new lenses accompanying new cameras, all back under 70 months, for example canon has great cameras but lenses are expensive and there is no third manufacturer, sony is a little weaker than canon, but it has a large selection of cheap third-party lenses, Nikon is supposedly somewhere in the middle, i.e. now they all have stabilization in the photo bodies and there is excellent compatibility with old lenses on the latest cameras (the two were Pentax's big trump card until 70 months ago) and Fuji has a "cheap" MF, which progress and innovation Pentax made in those 70 months (and lost the mentioned advantage) in order to interest and animate new users with their new products to opt for the K bayonet, the only thing constantly mentioned is the cheapness of Pentax products, from the reincarnation of old FA lenses to the non-existent new telezoom with variable aperture in ff format, then the rebranding of Tamron lenses to "forcefully" fit into the FF range of "holy trinity" lenses (speed is not in question because Even after 9 years, Pentax does not have the "holy trinity" in FF format with DFA* characteristics), I am a long-time user of Pentax photo equipment, so far I have owned 6 new Pentax DSLR cameras and a bunch of lenses, I'm just trying to be realistic because the inertia with which Pentax serves its users it is no longer acceptable to recommend Pentax to new users, I enjoy what I had from the Pentax K mount, the first FF camera and cheap good lenses, but I envy the sluggishness of Pentax's production of overall photographic equipment compared to other manufacturers, and because of all this, as a user Pentax photographic equipment, I feel like a member of some insignificant sect of untouchables, which sometimes flatters me, because when asked what kind of camera/photo equipment I use, I say that it is a high-end product that only true photography enthusiasts use and that Pentax is something like Leica only a little cheaper :D:lol::D:lol:

will Pentax in the new version of the upgrade in which the current irregularities will be corrected as a satisfaction to its users who experienced trauma due to the invalid current operating system on the K1(ll) put some noticeable improvements in c-af/speed of writing/editing point af, it would be a nice gesture with which users would easily forget about the traumas suffered when using bad software v.2.40 :Dthere will still have to be some kind of satisfaction , except for the bitterly pronounced sory, we have fixed the error :D:cool:

for walking, unplanned photography, but mostly when it's a non-purpose photo DFA28-105 is on K1, here's the last one (Saturday, 11.11.2023) from the fair: "Infogamer 2023" where I took my son to try out and enjoy gaming consoles and computer gaming configurations , here are some photos with K1+DFA28-105 in TAV mode with maximum ISO 6400:

company: RICOH IMAGING COMPANY, LTD.
camera: PENTAX K-1
ISO: 3200
camera shutter: 1/125 sec.
Aperture: 1:6.3
glass: 95 mm/DFA28-105
in 35 mm: 95 mm

company: RICOH IMAGING COMPANY, LTD.
camera: PENTAX K-1
ISO: 400
camera shutter: 1/125 sec.
Aperture: 1:5.6
glass: 28 mm/DFA28-105
in 35 mm: 28 mm

company: RICOH IMAGING COMPANY, LTD.
camera: PENTAX K-1
ISO: 6400
camera shutter: 1/125 sec.
Aperture: 1:6.3
glass: 88 mm/DFA28-105
in 35 mm: 88 mm

my advice is that you should not avoid PENTAX DFA 28-105/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR for use on K1 !!!

1.thank you for showing so much optimism and patience,
2.very realistic without admixture of possible compromises, the vast majority of users/reviewers create conclusions with compromises, that's why I appreciate your reviews

I hope that you will be lucky enough to give your opinion/review about the mentioned lens very soon, "fingers crossed"

for example, there are two FA 80-320/4.5-5.6, black and silver, they are allegedly not the same in construction, users of the black telephoto lens complain that there are mechanical problems, there are no such problems with the silver one, if they are mechanically different, are they optically the same because they both have the same first and last name, silver with black eyeshadow looks sexy:

imagine this one (with original hood) DFA70-300/4-5.6 ED DC WR

hastily found and forwarded to PF

size measurements are approximate by cutting (I have no intention of lying)

i think this is pure FA80-320/4.5-5.6 + K1 handheld without a tripod /320mm / focus distance approx. 8m

i think this is FA80-320/4.5-5.6 +AFx1.7 + K1 handheld without a tripod /540mm / focus distance approx.3m

same FA80-320/4.5-5.6 + K1 / focus distance approx. 7m

same FA80-320/4.5-5.6 + K1 / focus distance approx. 10m

same FA80-320/4.5-5.6 + K1 / focus distance approx. 10m

pentaxian59 to see your desires and your possibilities as criteria for something good and necessary/bad and unnecessary, I think it's completely wrong, for example personally I don't like the DFA70-210/4 at all because of the overall optical possibilities for its price, but that's why I don't say it's unnecessary or bad, I'm just commenting out loud when the Pentax design DFA 70-300/4-5.6 will finally be available ,because I need something like that ,the greater possibility of choice is a boon for the user, I think you got the point of my reply to your post

I understand you completely and I agree that we can talk about the price only when we know the overall quality of the 70-300/4.5-5.6 lens, until then the only question is why it isn't there yet and when it will finally be, I expect the price to be a little lower, approx. 10% or the same as the 70-210/4, I hope I'm not wrong, that would be a real alternative, a longer lens stabilized in lens with Pentax's character or a smaller millimeter with constant aperture and without Pentax's character and the price justifies here the difference

Any update on the new telephoto zoom HD Pentax-D FA 65-320/4-5,6 ED DC AW ???

if I reduce the range to 70-300mm and leave the specified aperture f4-5.6, I replace AW with RW and possibly DC with PLM, maybe then there is light on the horizon  I don't ask about the price, because I was already told here on the forum that I want cheap lenses that Pentax doesn't make anymore, but I would like them to make the telephoto zoom that I mentioned.

I wouldn't want to reduce the range because Pentax has experience with telezoom lenses and 65mm and 320mm, and anyway there is talk of some kind of strange lens, even if stabilization in the lens body is added to that millimeter size, here is a strange Pentax lens that has never been made before :D

for travel and most non-purpose photography on the K1, I have the DFA 28-105, when I need a zoom with a larger aperture in a closed space, the old Tokina 28-70/2.8 ATXPROSV on which Hoya HMC UV(c) is constantly is also good for me, which goes perfectly with the K1, for the width where I'm satisfied with light + iso 800, I use the Promaster Spectrum7 19-35/3.5-4.5 at 20mm with f4 (which I bought brand new in the original packaging on ebay) , for darker conditions I still use the flash AF540FGZ ll

Pentax in APAC format has a covered range with DA* from 11mm to 300mm as well as DA from 10mm to 300mm
in FF format, Pentax is far behind to have such an offer as in APSC, where the user can complete the range from approx. 11mm to 300mm without having to necessarily mix DA* and DA in order to do it, and he wouldn't want to Pentax cancels APSC, but only so that FF users have the same choice, when choosing APSC and FF formats, everyone will find easier what they expect and want from a photo with the same possibilities but again so different
