Ricoh want your feedback

The DFA should meet the technical characteristics of the latest digital camera and optical on the latest sensors, i.e. it must have: KAF4 mount for fast focusing/minimal WR because all Pentax photobodies are WR/HD coating to improve contrast/SP coating to clean the front element/quick shift for helps with manual focus/sharpness across the entire range- edge to edge and not like FA where you can see the obvious difference from the center to the edges, FA lens characteristics are outdated and not able to fully represent the capabilities of new/latest Pentax DSLR cameras, DFA can to fully present the possibilities and quality of Pentax new cameras in every respect, one should accept the future because it is here and not live in the past and adapt that past as the basis of the present and rely on it in the future

I strongly doubt that there are 100% satisfied users of K mount, but there are those who constantly write about the shortcomings, just as there are those who write that they are satisfied with the current range of K mount lenses, and there are by far the largest number of those who in every way justify the use of the parallel old and the new K mount lens technology as a whole, for which they always leave out any flaws that they have on the latest K mount cameras such combinations ,he who does not know his past does not deserve the future, but he who lives in the past is not worthy of the future, and I repeat again that I highly doubt that anyone here has any bad intentions about Pentax when they write about their experience and seeing things/situations with their own eyes in K mount, everyone (in my opinion) writes here honestly about wanting Pentax to give the best to its K mount users , those who keep quiet about the shortcomings or justify them in any way I am convinced do not wish Pentax well in the future because they are only fine with Pentax's past

it is better that we as old loyal users, aware of the current and past state of hard-to-find new lenses, "mumble" than for someone new to crash into the K system and as a disappointed user spread negative energy and deter the already small number of new users of the K system, and as a user To the system, keeping silent about irregularities is a sin against the system, because then it seems as if we don't care whether the system will progress or improve, so I'm not going to criticize and complain about a system (canikosopan) that I don't use, I guess, my 5 cents about criticism and silence and the product you use

that it is very sad that this Pentax "omerta" about novelties in FF DSLRs is really pressing, there are summer vacations, family trips/get-togethers and maybe some would buy something new in DSLR FF for taking pictures of such events, Pentax silent about K1mklll and any filling of the obvious gap in FF lenses ( the more I read online about experiences with the DFA 70-210/4, I'm coming to the conclusion that if I spend the equivalent of money, I'll either buy the Tamron 70-200/ 2.8 or stick with the FA 80-320/4.5-5.6 or just keep the money for DFA70-320/4.5-5.6 ED SDM WR, so maybe only then buy a permanent or variable aperture :hmm: ) ,mainly Pentax with its silent action very successfully preserves/saves my money intended for the hobby

this Katana cuts the pizza just by removing it from the sword scabbard = the desired speed of afc and Pentax recording, a really good comparison

I think you have misunderstood my writing, if I were not an optimistic user of Pentax photographic equipment and if I did not care in the least about Pentax's future as well as further in the future of users of Pentax photographic equipment, then I would not bother in any way with Pentax, I would sell the existing Pentax photographic equipment and bought something else, in 13 years of using Pentax dslr photo equipment I have come to love Pentax and of course I comment on what bothers me/loves me or what I want/expect from it with complete reality, unfortunately in my immediate surroundings (approx. 500 km) there is no official mention of Pentax photo equipment in any form, as an advanced enthusiast when I have free time I read most of the events with/around Pentax on this forum

biz-engineer says from personal experience what I, as a layman, am trying to say on the example of a good player and a club that buys him but does not want to invest in him but is satisfied with his current possibilities with a minimal stake or buys him just to steal him from others so that he does not invested in him and thus earned even more, you have to fight/invest for your life, otherwise you die layman's said - lord's thought

... he didn't go against the big ones, so he got dropped from the mirrorless team/league, he won't against the small slr manufacturers, so he'll be dropped from the game/league there too, the conclusion is clear that he has to go against players in the league he wants to play in, logically if you don't want to play against players from a higher league, you are relegated to a lower league, and if you don't want to play against players from a lower league, you are relegated from all leagues and disappear from the scene, then why wouldn't Pentx play neither against the big ones nor against the small ones, because the conclusion is if he doesn't want to play against anyone, he will drop out of the game, for example, a big club buys a promising player and that club invests in him with better training/conditions/the team that surrounds him and he brings the club a lot of profit, or if, for example, a big club buys a promising player who promises and the club invests minimal or little of its resources in his possibilities, then that player provides little and slowly disappears from the scene and creates costs for the club and not profit, profit and that will be short-lived in the first club because that season the second club will be weaker for such a player, but already next season another club will buy a new perspective player and the first club will again have a problem with the investment it bought in the past but did not invest in, life is a struggle for survival, those who don't fight die

As a mere mortal/end user of Pentax photographic equipment, I understand nothing about these interpretations. If Pentax is compared to Canikosopan, then Pentax is a "small craft" manufacturer and has no parallel with these large manufacturers of photographic equipment, if then a comparison follows with a really small "craft" manufacturer of photographic equipment, for example MINT, then Pentax is a large company which can't afford to take any risks, hey, where is Pentax in the end, it can't go against the "big" because it's too small, but it can't go against the "small" because it's too big :confused: for God's sake where is Pentax in the world of photography right now, reading such comparisons, one gets the impression that Pentax is lost in space and time - when and if it will find itself, its users discuss all the time writing the same thoughts in different words

Which SD-cards speed read/write for K-1

yes correct statement, if only RAW goes to the 1st card, then 64GB, if only JPEG goes to the second, 16GB is enough, if RAW+JPEG is recorded, then both 64GB (the second card is only for backup, 16GB is enough), 128GB is way too much for one event=over 1600 RAW shots, not to mention how much it is for just JPEG shots, of course it is preferable to reformat the memory card in the camera before each use and not anywhere else

I gave my example and wrote that I recommend that it is the maximum, memory cards are easily available today (price) and it is better to have two smaller ones than one large one, both for security and for sorting the content
,I also use SanDisk memory cards of 16 and 32 GB, but they are "slow" ordinary Class10, I mentioned these first because they are extremely fast, the writing speed of which the K1 cannot reach/exceed

I use parallel Samsung Plus PRO 64GB = 806 RAW/626 RAW+JPEG and SanDisk Extreme 16GB = 200 RAW/155 RAW+JPEG, all in full size and highest quality, I would recommend a maximum of: 2 x 64 GB, i.e. 2 x 806 RAW i.e. 1612 RAW in total, (64 GB X 2 = 5584 only JPEG i.e 16 GB X 2= 1392 only JPEG )

that's exactly what I meant, that the long period of non-release/non-production of kaf4 and Klll has nothing to do with the current development of the film project, and these two projects should not be equated that one depends on the other, because according to Ricoh it does not depend, one project must not burden another

biz-engineer, I think I read that the film project will not slow down dslr development, i.e. that Ricoh said that these projects are not related to each other and that the film project will not in any way slow down/usurp dslr development, so total unknowns are waiting in ff production should not be tied to a film project, the two should not be paralleled at all, or I don't know how to read "between the lines",
to repeat, (you took my question out of context and answered that part) Pentax did not make a kaf4 mount lens for 2~3 years that would prove itself in full glory with and wr and noiselessness and autofocus speed in combination with the K1 which has the ability to prove those abilities against the reincarnated ones which have very much their qualities from before and now they are even improved, but they have nothing to do with the possibilities that kaf4 provides on the new K1, regardless of the fact that there is a gap that gapes like the wide open jaws of a shark

on apsc I had 17-70/4 and now on K1 I use DFA 28-105, DFA 28-105 is a better lens than DA17-70, DFA full wr, faster/quieter/more decisive in autofocus, very good (excellent) all-round lens , my recommendation

I used tokina 28-70/2.8 in apsc format, when I switched to K1 for the next two years that tokina was the main lens on K1, I bought DFA 28-105 and only then I discovered how much more practical it is for me to use DFA+K1 from TOKINA+K1, i.e. how much faster and quieter and lighter the K1 is in focusing, how capable is this combination when I can easily access the three wheels on the body of the K1: shutter release/blender/iso and the weather outside is very unfavorable, so I tie with the new photo body and accompanying new lenses as the main factor because with the old lenses the new photo body is not able to present its full power, precisely because of the full power and we buy new photo bodies because what is it/power worth to us on paper if we have absolutely nothing to do with it to use/make use of

I apologize if I hurt someone with my writing, I didn't do it on purpose, I'm trying with all my might to stick to the topic, which is about the new K1lll, so in that context I also mention new products that would present all the power of the new camera, the latest camera body and kaf4 with pentax design, one and the second are just stories and informal, thank you for your understanding

do you really expect in the topic of the latest camera that the talk about the reincarnation of the previous series be objectified, or do you expect to talk about the latest set of lenses that the latest camera could make the best use of and that combination could demonstrate all its strength as a whole, variations with combinations would be written in another topic

yes, I know that these lenses are old/released 2~3 years ago,
so you're just confirming my statement, all those lenses you listed were released 2-3 years ago (not even all of them Pentax designs, so Pentax didn't participate in their optical formula anyway and wasted time and resources during that time - Pentax in 8 years since it has a ff camera, it doesn't have its own/Pentax design ff to cover the already noticeable gap in both the DFA* segment and the DFA segment with variable aperture, nor is there anything official about it at all), this is a Pentax forum with the topic: Pentax News and Rumors, and subtopic; The K1iii was said to be in development......maybe, but , there is nothing concrete in the indications either, when Pentax does not offer us the opportunity to talk about the characteristics of currently existing new cameras/products, but instead offers us the topic of what would happen if there was, and the topic of what will be when it will be, and the topic if there will be and when it will be, so I'm not clear where pentax is on the camera manufacturer map right now, too long this silence continues without any hint about/for kaf4 and k1lll

then we can expect new lenses that would intrigue existing users of the Pentax K1 to stay in the k mount, or is it decided to wait for a new camera body with a new (single) glass, what will it be and when will it be and will it ever be at all, it is not clear to me where Pentax is currently on the photographic map, this silence lasts far too long without any hint for kaf4 and K1lll ,when was the last time there was talk about some kind of new kaf4 lens, I really don't remember if it was even in the last two~three years

when Pentax does not offer us the opportunity to talk about the characteristics of currently existing new cameras/products, but instead offers us the topic of what would happen if there was, and the topic of what will be when it will be, and the topic if there will be and when it will be, Pentax is in every in terms of very inspiring for its users who try to participate in such writing about Pentax (and I personally try to write in this way about Pentax as support)

it is charged on the original charger as well as the original K1 battery from 2017, now as new it has the same performance as the original from long ago in 2017, the first replacement is a Chinese copy of looks exactly the same with the same appearance, bought for approx. 15 euros 5 years ago, which is charged also on the original charger, it now has a capacity of 1/4 of the original, approx. 150 triggers with chimping, enough to charge the original battery for approx. 600 shots with chimping (64Gb card filled in RAW+JPEG recording)

which electronic circuits, which technology and which generation of sensors has Pentax used so far in its new cameras when they appeared on the market as a novelty, was Pentax a leader in what was mentioned above (strong new processor of any kind, bus construction, memory/motherboards-hardware, operating system-software, new current sensors...) or had a slightly different approach in the architecture of its new cameras, Pentax was left alone with such technology/dslr and if it wants "to stay alive"/don't go to the well-deserved retirement yet it will have to change its approach to constructing the architecture of new cameras for 180° so that users of new dslr cameras do not feel/be inferior to users of mirrorless cameras for the same, if Pentax succeeds in this with the price ratio compared to the competition in the past, all the current accumulated frustration and nervousness of Pentaxijaner's will disappear
