Production of black Pentax K-3 Mark III stopped???!!!

in the last 10 or so years that I have been using Pentax photographic equipment, I have become convinced that Pentax has not followed the needs of the wide, general, photo market at all, nor has it tried to present its products with the characteristics that are the most modern and in demand on the market at that moment, for example, the number of autofocus points/ c-af speed, battery life, speed of autofocus lenses, number of lenses as an alternative consumer choice, Pentax tried with cheaper inputs (older sensors/weaker processors/older technology...) to offer maximum possibilities, of course it has nothing to do with directing efforts for what is the most modern now, Ricom may want it, I don't know because I am not its user and I do not follow its development, but I doubt that Pentax will position itself on the market as a relevant manufacturer of photographic equipment, because of everything mentioned in my 10 years of experience as its user, the only possibility for that is if a radical (simultaneous-overall) change takes place at Pentax in everything I mentioned, then Pentax would position itself as a relevant manufacturer of photographic equipment, currently Pentax is more like an exotic that is not interesting to the majority of the photo market/users of photographic equipment, individuals only who are prepared in advance to make compromises when using Pentax

Shooting at 28mm - which lens to choose

as a K1 user for the range of 28 mm I use 3 lenses, depending on the situation, two zooms and one prime, Tokina ATXPROSV 28-70/2.8 when I need the complete range with a large constant aperture f2.8, and it's not much at 28 /2.8, when I'm traveling and I want to take photos without flash and I don't need a large aperture, then I use the DFA28-105/3.5-5.6, and 28mm at a low aperture and increased iso is ok, if I'm shooting specifically at 28mm and a larger one is needed aperture then I use F28/2.8 and that lens is by far the best for using the 28mm range

and yes, I can't read anywhere, i.e. any statements about any dslr Pentax product, there is no information about dslr ff photo body or lens or flash, I don't remember since when, not counting the announcements about the cessation of production and the recycling of old individual dslr ff products in the past two years, reality for ff is not far off

so, not even for hobby, let alone for professional photography,
don't get me wrong as if I'm some kind of destructive amateur who uses Pentax photography equipment, but this statement is very disturbing to me, who is personally full of unsupportive comments towards Pentax's way of dealing with its production releases for end users, especially since it was made on today's date , or that's your confirmed opinion about Pentax anyway

Happy Easter to those who celebrate it

it's a pity, and I was thinking of spending the money in the spring on a Pentax hobby, because of Pentax's sluggishness, the finances are directed to the purchase of a new self-propelled garden mower with a B&S engine (mulching + side ejection + rear ejection + vacuuming into the basket, i.e. 4 in 1)

does it move/does it start with some new DFA lenses, it's tiring to read on this forum about the possibilities of using K mount lenses on other new mount cameras or adapters that enable their use, for God's sake I will not buy K mount lenses and then buy another mount cameras to use them as a combination, I use ff K mount camera and I am interested in ff K mount lenses, so is there any news about any ff products related to K mount

I wouldn't agree with you one bit, I can't imagine how I would use the camera if I couldn't have direct access without taking my eyes off the viewfinder to the shutter speed/aperture/iso/or in addition to all that, the green button, I can do all that on the K1 and that makes that camera perfect for me to use, I wouldn't want to change those features for touch screen use, no thank you very much no

The DFA should meet the technical characteristics of the latest digital camera and optical on the latest sensors, i.e. it must have: KAF4 mount for fast focusing/minimal WR because all Pentax photobodies are WR/HD coating to improve contrast/SP coating to clean the front element/quick shift for helps with manual focus/sharpness across the entire range- edge to edge and not like FA where you can see the obvious difference from the center to the edges, FA lens characteristics are outdated and not able to fully represent the capabilities of new/latest Pentax DSLR cameras, DFA can to fully present the possibilities and quality of Pentax new cameras in every respect, one should accept the future because it is here and not live in the past and adapt that past as the basis of the present and rely on it in the future

I strongly doubt that there are 100% satisfied users of K mount, but there are those who constantly write about the shortcomings, just as there are those who write that they are satisfied with the current range of K mount lenses, and there are by far the largest number of those who in every way justify the use of the parallel old and the new K mount lens technology as a whole, for which they always leave out any flaws that they have on the latest K mount cameras such combinations ,he who does not know his past does not deserve the future, but he who lives in the past is not worthy of the future, and I repeat again that I highly doubt that anyone here has any bad intentions about Pentax when they write about their experience and seeing things/situations with their own eyes in K mount, everyone (in my opinion) writes here honestly about wanting Pentax to give the best to its K mount users , those who keep quiet about the shortcomings or justify them in any way I am convinced do not wish Pentax well in the future because they are only fine with Pentax's past

it is better that we as old loyal users, aware of the current and past state of hard-to-find new lenses, "mumble" than for someone new to crash into the K system and as a disappointed user spread negative energy and deter the already small number of new users of the K system, and as a user To the system, keeping silent about irregularities is a sin against the system, because then it seems as if we don't care whether the system will progress or improve, so I'm not going to criticize and complain about a system (canikosopan) that I don't use, I guess, my 5 cents about criticism and silence and the product you use

that it is very sad that this Pentax "omerta" about novelties in FF DSLRs is really pressing, there are summer vacations, family trips/get-togethers and maybe some would buy something new in DSLR FF for taking pictures of such events, Pentax silent about K1mklll and any filling of the obvious gap in FF lenses ( the more I read online about experiences with the DFA 70-210/4, I'm coming to the conclusion that if I spend the equivalent of money, I'll either buy the Tamron 70-200/ 2.8 or stick with the FA 80-320/4.5-5.6 or just keep the money for DFA70-320/4.5-5.6 ED SDM WR, so maybe only then buy a permanent or variable aperture :hmm: ) ,mainly Pentax with its silent action very successfully preserves/saves my money intended for the hobby

I think you have misunderstood my writing, if I were not an optimistic user of Pentax photographic equipment and if I did not care in the least about Pentax's future as well as further in the future of users of Pentax photographic equipment, then I would not bother in any way with Pentax, I would sell the existing Pentax photographic equipment and bought something else, in 13 years of using Pentax dslr photo equipment I have come to love Pentax and of course I comment on what bothers me/loves me or what I want/expect from it with complete reality, unfortunately in my immediate surroundings (approx. 500 km) there is no official mention of Pentax photo equipment in any form, as an advanced enthusiast when I have free time I read most of the events with/around Pentax on this forum

biz-engineer says from personal experience what I, as a layman, am trying to say on the example of a good player and a club that buys him but does not want to invest in him but is satisfied with his current possibilities with a minimal stake or buys him just to steal him from others so that he does not invested in him and thus earned even more, you have to fight/invest for your life, otherwise you die layman's said - lord's thought

... he didn't go against the big ones, so he got dropped from the mirrorless team/league, he won't against the small slr manufacturers, so he'll be dropped from the game/league there too, the conclusion is clear that he has to go against players in the league he wants to play in, logically if you don't want to play against players from a higher league, you are relegated to a lower league, and if you don't want to play against players from a lower league, you are relegated from all leagues and disappear from the scene, then why wouldn't Pentx play neither against the big ones nor against the small ones, because the conclusion is if he doesn't want to play against anyone, he will drop out of the game, for example, a big club buys a promising player and that club invests in him with better training/conditions/the team that surrounds him and he brings the club a lot of profit, or if, for example, a big club buys a promising player who promises and the club invests minimal or little of its resources in his possibilities, then that player provides little and slowly disappears from the scene and creates costs for the club and not profit, profit and that will be short-lived in the first club because that season the second club will be weaker for such a player, but already next season another club will buy a new perspective player and the first club will again have a problem with the investment it bought in the past but did not invest in, life is a struggle for survival, those who don't fight die

As a mere mortal/end user of Pentax photographic equipment, I understand nothing about these interpretations. If Pentax is compared to Canikosopan, then Pentax is a "small craft" manufacturer and has no parallel with these large manufacturers of photographic equipment, if then a comparison follows with a really small "craft" manufacturer of photographic equipment, for example MINT, then Pentax is a large company which can't afford to take any risks, hey, where is Pentax in the end, it can't go against the "big" because it's too small, but it can't go against the "small" because it's too big :confused: for God's sake where is Pentax in the world of photography right now, reading such comparisons, one gets the impression that Pentax is lost in space and time - when and if it will find itself, its users discuss all the time writing the same thoughts in different words

yes correct statement, if only RAW goes to the 1st card, then 64GB, if only JPEG goes to the second, 16GB is enough, if RAW+JPEG is recorded, then both 64GB (the second card is only for backup, 16GB is enough), 128GB is way too much for one event=over 1600 RAW shots, not to mention how much it is for just JPEG shots, of course it is preferable to reformat the memory card in the camera before each use and not anywhere else

I gave my example and wrote that I recommend that it is the maximum, memory cards are easily available today (price) and it is better to have two smaller ones than one large one, both for security and for sorting the content
,I also use SanDisk memory cards of 16 and 32 GB, but they are "slow" ordinary Class10, I mentioned these first because they are extremely fast, the writing speed of which the K1 cannot reach/exceed

I use parallel Samsung Plus PRO 64GB = 806 RAW/626 RAW+JPEG and SanDisk Extreme 16GB = 200 RAW/155 RAW+JPEG, all in full size and highest quality, I would recommend a maximum of: 2 x 64 GB, i.e. 2 x 806 RAW i.e. 1612 RAW in total, (64 GB X 2 = 5584 only JPEG i.e 16 GB X 2= 1392 only JPEG )
