Still working with my silver K200D...I consider upgrading to the K-30 for one great function: focus peaking...but with the announcement of a new K-5..I wonder if it will come with this useful feature ?

I recently acquired a S-M-C Tak 85-210mm, complete with hood and case, but in the lid of the case there is what looks like a filter, that have "attachment lens" written on it...Anybody know what is it for ?

Ok, I received today my first ever Tak lens ,a 55mm 1.8, and I have a question for you guys: why is there a manual / auto selection possible ? Isn't a manual only focus lens ?

Thanks guys, I agree with you for the back ground ...problem is that they were flying so low over the river, that it was just impossible to get a good back ground from where I was standing ..grrrrrrr ......

Yes when focus is correct, there is a "bip" that tell the picture can be shoot..but..is it because my body move slightly that put the subject out of focus ?..I don't know ...

Second try with the 50mm 1.7
Seems like I'm having a hard time with focus...in fact it's a bit difficult to see if you have the right focus with that tiny view finder...

Well, that's answering the question. I thought that maybe the color rendering would have been slightly different due to the "multi-coated" treatment.
On the other hand, I just bought a mint Super Tak 55mm 1.8 on Ebay this morning...

Hey guys, are you using a tripod or something else to get clear pictures like this ? Man, I try to shoot with a 50mm , but I'm not able to get any clear picture without "movement" of the subject when I shoot with manual lens...With a tripod, everything is fine... Am I doing something wrong ?
