Eeeek. I can't picture this in a catalog or website. I'm also not sure that anybody expects the picture to be the main differentiator for the product - in other words sales will be generated by other means, with the pictures offering a supporting role.
Did you intentionally blow the highlights around the hip area?

I estimate there have been approximately 8 million billion photos taken of the 12 Apostles (set of geological formations along the south west coast of Victoria, Australia). A Google image search will not disappoint. So in this shot I tried to create a point of difference. The crappy day and time of day probably didn't help.
C&C appreciated. |

C&C welcome
P.S. To explain, this geological formation is called London Bridge. It is located on the south west coast of Victoria in Australia. It used to be connected to the mainland but it collapsed a while ago.

Thanks for the comments, appreciate it. I actually PP'd the chopper in, and the swans too, though they were present in another frame of essentially the same shot. I agree the chopper is a bit silly. I thought the swans did add some interest, but take your point Ash.
I felt the boat perspective was the only option I had, as there was a rather ugly pier under development to the left - hence the apparent crop (it's actually an un-cropped image IIRC). There were no other options re my position in relation to the boat.
Thanks again for looking.

I would experiment with emphasizing an interesting aspect of the aircraft, possibly with a wide-angle lens. I don't know much about the B-25 apart from the Doolittle raid; perhaps there is something about that particular aircraft or the general design that is interesting. You don't necessarily need to "document" the entire aircraft. And try diagonal lines too. :)
Edit: HDR is an acronym for High Dynamic Range and we could fill a book about the details of that subject. Basically when you "HDR it" you take a number of shots with different exposures, for example, under exposed, normal exposure, over exposed. Then you can use something like Photoshop to automatically combine the frames into one shot which compresses the range of exposures into one image without blown highlights or completely black shadows.
Search for "Photography HDR" and all will be revealed.

Would just appreciate some C&C.
Shot through a 2-stop soft graduated filter.
