I test drove the windows version when it came out last week. I used it on an Core i7 laptop, 16Gig mem, 500GB Samsung SSD. First thing I noticed is it's slow! Windows task manager / performance shows CPU pegs at 100% by simply opening one NEF file from a D500. Once the file is open CPU usage drops. But while developing, adjusting (any) slider by a tick or two pegs the CPU again to 100% and takes about 6 seconds for the image to take the adjustment - and you can hear the CPU fan at full bore. They released an update a day later which improved the speed quite a bit but it's still sluggish. I like what Luminar offers as far as features go but in my opinion based on recent experience, I don't think Luminar 2018 (Windows) is ripe for mainstream. I can't speak for the Mac version, though.

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
DA18-135 WR Asking Price
200.00 USD Item Location
Colorado (United States) Item Description
Up for sale is my DA 18-135 WR with a Hoya HD lens protector. I am the original owner of this lens and it was my most used on my old K5 and later K5iis. It is in very good to excellent condition with no haze or fungus however, there is a very minor imperfection on the front element (see 4th photo). It does not affect image quality and in fact, is so minute that I had a hard time making it visible for the photo ad. I honestly do not know how the front element got this mark since the lens has never been subjected to any abuse. Comes with original hood, caps and box. Im asking $200 shipped to CONUS. PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Vivitar Series 1 (aka Kiron/Lester A Dine) 105mm f2.5 Macro Asking Price
200.00 USD Item Location
Colorado (United States) Item Description
Selling my Vivitar Series 1 105mm f2.5 Macro (aka Kiron 105mm f2.5 or Lester A Dine 105mm f2.8). I bought this lens specifically for Macro photography but unfortunately, I never really got around to it and find myself doing a lot more portraiture instead.
Review of this lens can be found here: Vivitar Series 1 (Kiron - 22xxxxx) 105mm f2.5 (100mm f2.8) Macro Lens Reviews - Vivitar Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
As mentioned above, this I believe is the Kiron version (SN: 22xxxxx) which is built like a tank. Lens is in very good to excellent condition with glass (front/rear) are clean with no signs of haze/fungus. Comes with front/rear caps and protective case. One thing worth mentioning, if it matters, the lens is marked as 105mm lens but for whatever reason it is registering as a 100mm "A" lens in lightroom. $225 shipped to CONUS. Jon - yes it's still available. I think you only need two responses to a thread before you can PM. If you reply to this one that makes it two. You should be good to PM after that - I think.

DA 40mm f/2.8 Limted Asking Price
165.00 USD Item Location
Colorado (United States) Item Description
DA 40mm/f2.8 Limited Bought the lens to pair with my K01 but I tend to prefer the 35mm/f2.4 for its focal length. Body does show signs of use, but not abuse. Comes with original MH-RC hood, screw-in metal front lens cap and plastic rear cap. Im also including a plastic front clip-on lens cap that fits on the hood. I do not not have the box or pouch for it. ($175 Shipped):
Front and rear elements are free of haze, scratch and or fungus.
Focus ring rotates smoothly no gritty feel to it.
Aperture blades are clean and snappy.
Comes with original hood and lens caps plus an aftermarket clip-on lens cap

K5 – I am the original owner. It is in very good to excellent condition with few signs of use, but never abused. Manufacture date is 04/24/2012 making this as one of the late production K5 – already branded Ricoh - before being discontinued. Comes with original charger, battery, cables, straps and CD. I cannot find the paperback user’s manual, which is strange because it usually stays in the box and rarely gets used. Most often I relied on a downloaded digital version. The hot-shoe flash cover is also missing. I use a flashgun quite a bit so I put the cover in a safe place where it won’t get lost. Alas, when I checked that “safe place” the cover is no longer there. $220 (Shipped to CONUS).
• Original owner
• Shutter Count: 30,098
• Build Date: 2012:04:24
• No Hot-Shoe flash cover
• No Paperback user’s manual - (I burned a copy onto a CD) (Included w/K5) Meike DBG4 Battery Grip – New in box and never used and comes with two battery trays. Most people may already know but just in case, I believe this grip is not weather sealed.

Second of three (maybe four) listings for my Pentax gear. As mentioned on my earlier ad, Im selling some of my gear to raise funds. (NO, Im not leaving Pentax camp!) DA*55 f1.4: Lens was purchased on Ebay but didnt get much use, as I tend to prefer (albeit slower) DA*50-135 zoom instead. It did not come with hood, pouch or original box when I got the lens. On the suggestion of a forum member, I purchased an LH-RBG hood and work/fits perfectly with no vignette issue on APS-C bodies. SDM works without issues.$295 Shipped.
Front and rear elements are free of haze, scratch and or fungus.
Focus ring rotates smoothly no gritty feel to it.
Aperture blades are clean and snappy.
Hood is aftermarket LH-RBG
No pouch or original box
Comes with aftermarket front and original rear lens caps SOLD DA*50-135 Screw Drive: Purchased from a forum member who was the original owner of the lens. Mainly for portraits and or still-life but I also used it a few times outdoors. Optics are flawless and produces excellent images however, SDM has failed. AF has been converted to screw-drive, though I mostly use manual focus. I did notice AF hunts at times on the long end at (135mm) indoors on my K5, but locks-on focus quick if I pre-focus first. Ive heard other K5 users experiencing the same thing.SOLD Front and rear elements are free of haze, scratch and or fungus.
Focus and zoom ring rotates smoothly no gritty feel to it.
Aperture blades are clean and snappy.
Comes with original hood, pouch and box
Lens caps are original Pentax
All purchases are as-is and final sale. No returns.
Please PM me if interested. Thank you for looking.

Selling off some of my Pentax gear to raise funds. I was originally going to put them in one big ad however, to avoid confusion on whos responding to what item, I thought it might be better to break them into separate ads. (NO, Im not leaving Pentax camp!) DA* 60-250 f4 SDM - I rarely use this lens three occasions if I remember correctly. Out of the times I used this lens, I did not notice any performance or optical issues, though AF fine adjustment was needed on my K5. Front and rear elements are clean and free of scratches, haze and or fungus. SDM works fine, and zoom and focus rings rotate normally and without hesitation or gritty feel to it. Lens was purchased locally from an individual selling off his Pentax lenses. It did not come with hood, pouch or original box. The tripod foot is also missing and the part where the foot mounts on the collar is slightly out-of-square see photo. Im pricing the lens accordingly - $495 (Shipped).

Tripod foot is missing and the part of the collar where the foot mounts is slightly out-of-square see photo. I got the lens like this and I simply forgot to ask what had happened to the foot (too excited about the lens).
No hood, pouch or original box
Comes with front and rear lens caps SOLD DA*16-50 f2.8 Screw Drive - My workhorse for martial-arts, as well as elementary and middle school yearbook photography. AF has been converted to screw-drive. Lens was purchased locally from the same individual above selling off his Pentax lenses. It did not come with hood, pouch or original box. There is also a scratch on the front not on the glass but on the meal surface See photo). Im pricing the lens accordingly - SOLD Front and rear elements are free of haze, scratches and or fungus.

It's the other way around here in Denver. We usually have about this much snow this time of the year. Instead we're in the high 50's-60's and even took a family bike ride. Nice shots, thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure what the voltage tolerance is of a Kr (or any other camera body) but that seems a little high. The battery is only 7.4V and with a four AA adapter the camera is running on 6V. Unless there's something wrong with your voltmeter, 8.4V is a little high
That sounds like the "classic" Kr Mirror flop that was discussed on numerous threads similar to this: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/6-pentax-dslr-discussion/189224-mirror-fl...revisited.html
....As far as I know the camera should still turn on and display something on the LCD.
...A body that old might not be economical to repair, sorry to say. Precision Camera in CT is the only authorized repair center. Their online quote is $206 for a K-r
...Precision Camera? With a "less than positive" stories I've been seeing with regards to Precision experience, you'd be lucky to get your camera back before Christmas.
---One thing to try if possible is use and AA adapter and see what happens. You should be able to get them on Amazon, BH Photo, Ebay.
Good Luck!

That's exactly what I use on my K5. I've since modified it to accept RJ45 connectors and it has no problem firing a Metz48 (including HSS) using a 25ft CAT5e cable.
