that would make it 4 shots, no ? a dim light shot and a lit shot, from each cam.

I've also heard it takes two years for Pentax to come up with replacement models. :)
When K-3 hit store shelves, price of K-5s will be irrelevant to me, unless I can be convinced that K-3 isn't worth the step up.

Are you saying K-5 cannot focus at all in dim light? I fail to understand the point of this thread, but it's got me intrigued.

I want to get 18-135 WR, keep shooting with K20D until it breaks, pocket the $1000 or so price difference into a mutual fund until say K-3 is available? I wish I can test drive a K-5 for a day, so it can change my mind.

I have a K20D that still works great and have had no problems that required service or repairs ever since I bought it new. It looks like this tax year I will be tempted to afford an upgrade.
I skipped upgrading to K-7, which just didn't warrant enough improvement for the price. I've said no thanks to novelties like K-M, K-X and K-R. I still own the 16-45 lens that came with my K20D kit. Over the years, a Sigma 135-400 was added to shoot wild life, but I never had the urge to swap for other lenses. Is it finally time to shelve my K20D for a new K-5, or buy DA 18-135 WR to shelf the 16-45 instead?
What should I replace first? or should I ask what would you replace first?

sorry? It shows new glass should be used on K-5 ?
it's quite a large investment to equip semi-pro/pro.
