If sensor size matters we'd all be using a medium format camera... or we'd all be shooting 8x10... wait... we'd never have switched from film. I'm not a good photographer... buying a larger format sensor won't make me better... it'll make me poorer.

I agree! I have the XE3... I am a little disappointed with the size of the EVF (I had the XE2 and that was a much better size) but I have adjusted. The XE3 is an amazing camera, I use it for everything... the idea of having IBIS on it is one that would compel me to engage my G.A.S. and buy it - even with a small EVF... for some people the compromise is worth it!

3 Pentax DSLRs (K-r, K5, K5iis) 2 fuji's - X-E2, X-E3... My father is a Canon user so my first digital DSLR efforts were on a Canon 20D.

I don't know how you're going to use Lightroom on such a small screen anyways! The price feels a little much for a camera that has such limitations.

I wonder if they could make the space behind the sensor significantly narrower. If they could get that thickness down they probably could make a mirrorless camera and compete with other manufacturers. I wish they would make something unique and special.

I used to be a Pentax user, but switched to a fuji... but my love for Pentax has never abated. I've always wished that they would make a throwback camera, one with proper dials for shutter speed and aperture (they could put it right behind the lens mount to be used with the left hand). I wish they would work at making the camera a lot thinner (even to the point of removing the rear screen - maybe they could rig something up in the viewfinder where you could pop the Electric viewfinder into the viewfinder like the Fuji X-Pro3). If they could make the camera nearly as thin as the old film camera's they would compete in size with mirrorless, but have all the advantages of a DSLR. Just a small wish list... probably not possible with current technological limitations

Went with a friend to a popular surfing spot here in Okinawa. It was just after a typhoon, so the waves were good... I'm no surfer so I brought my camera. Good thing it's weather proofed! It got licked by a dog and then was soaked by a wave... I love my K5iis and 18-135!

I had focusing issues with my K5. At wide open apertures it was not giving me consistent results. I know that not all K5s suffer from this... mine did. I was shooting indoor events and I just couldn't nail the focus all the time. I was taking 2-3x more pictures than I thought I needed just to make sure I had enough quality frames. Switching to K5IIs I have noticed an increase in keepable shots. I have much more confidence in the camera doing what I want it to, when I want it too. I definitely am not an excellent photography, just a hack, but I am in the camp that the K5IIs is a huge difference maker for me.
I love the sharpness that no AA filter gives me. I love the accuracy shooting wide open. I love being able to shoot in near darkness (can't even focus manually because I can't see, but the camera nails it every time!). That's just me! I love it.

[4] マウントが蛇腹式カメラのように前後に移動
New bellow-type camera mount (Honestly, this sounds crazy and I have no idea what this is)
What if this is a dual mount? What if this is the replacement for the Pentax K-01? A collapsible mount for new short flange K mount lenses and a Bellow for the original K mount flange distance... best of both worlds? Use all your pentax glass - no adapter required, but for those times you want a small mirrorless camera buy our new lens. 😊

I bought mine used... and it creeps. I put one of those silicone wristbands on it as a lock when I'm walking. Stops the creep... I've been considering sending it and getting it fixed but haven't yet got around to it. My free fix is working fine.

From a cursory look online (I am no expert on Nikon Flange distance) it depends on the adapter you are using. You need to make sure that the adapter you buy allows for infinity focus. As an example this adapter from BH Photo says that infinity focus is possible: FotodioX Adapter for M42 Screw-Mount Lens to Nikon M42-NK-PG B&H.
You can use an adapter. Make sure it indicates that it will focus at infinity. That is vital.
(You are talking about Nikon F mount right?)
Good luck!
