Thank you.

I used a Sigma 10-20mm. Not much PP work. Just some sharpening.

Thank you for your comments.

This shot is really loosing a lot in compression for the web. I am not very good with computer/software, so I don't really know how to optimize the images for the internet.

In the original file, the colors are very deep and intense. They look quite washed out here.

Thanks again for viewing, and especialy for taking the time to comment.

Thanks for your comments. This shot was taken using a polarizing filter to boost the contrast and bring out the color, a 2 stop GND to hold back the sky and a rear curtain flash to highlight the rocks. I believe it was about a 6 second exposure.

Thanks again!

Chris

Cokin P or Z series?

The p-seris will not work with the Sigma 10-20. In fact, the z series will not work if you have a circular filter on the front of the lens and a filter in the holder. It actually is so wide that the filter holder is in view. I think that the lee system is the way to go with a lens that wide; although I have yet to try it. I purchased the Z for the same lens and am very dissapointed.

Hope this helps-

Chris

Hey Everyone,

my name is Chris and I'm from Benicia, California. It's a small waterfront town about 25miles from San Francisco. I recently pcked up a K10D after less than stellar performance from my Nikon D80. The Nikon was my first jumo into the digital world. i dumped it shortly after and began to search my bet option. In the end, the K10D won and I couldn;t be happier. I love this camera! Anyway, I look forward to learning from all of you-

Chris
