I also noticed this on my *60-250. There is apparently very little difference between 200 and 250 mm, but images differ anyhow.

Hi, my name is Mike, I am from Russia! Finally, I have joined this great forum, although I have been using Pentax gear for almost three years. I really love my K200D - it is great camera in all respects, especially colours. I have recently purchased DA*60-250, and this forum indeed helped me to make this decision.
