Will the Sigma 50-500mm F/4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM lens work on the Pentax K20D? I was thinking of getting one,and wanted to know if it would work on my K20D body.

I have upgraded the software on both of my Pentax bodies.(K20D and *ist DL) Since the upgrade I can use the same size sd cards in both cameras. Right they both have 16gb class 10 cards in them. I don't think I would get rid of either one other than to give one to my Daughter.

The *ist DL 16,037
The K20D is the newest I bought it in Dec 2008. The *ist DL was bought in Feb,2006. Since getting the K20D the *ist DL is not used as much as it once was.

I bought my K20D in Dec 2008. I would still buy it this year if I did not already have one. My opinion is yes it is worth it.

Back a few years ago whe I was shooting film I shot with Ricohs. I had a KR 5 Super 2,and a XR 10. I used these cameras for seven football seasons. In all of that time I only encountered one other Ricoh user.

Again this football season I am the only Pentax owner on the sidelines. Canon owns that market.

What part of Texas do you vacation in? I am in East Texas. I have two pentax dslrs,and one Ricoh slr.(KR5 Super2) I don't run into many Pentax owners myself.

Those ars very good photos. My father was shoot down near Paris in March 1944,and was a pow untill the war ended. He was an engineer/ gunner on an 8th airforce B17.
Great shots.
