Hi morph00 I am having the same problem with my new K3 and an original Pentax grip for the K3, I paid £165 for the grip so a little cheesed off to say the least , once the grip is remove no problem , so im wondering is there any point in asking for a replacement grip if there is a problem with the design.

Hi everyonemy name is Chris Carroll,
I'm old andbald and fat well not fat really let'ssay plumpish ok then fat, From this description of myself you might think ihave not allot going for me , well I do actually I have The Pentax Kr and thePentax K5 so you see life is not all bad, Although i will never make any money with my photography the pleasure that it gives me will keep me going for years to come,
I place my work on flickr under megasnapper have a look don't expect too much this is just a hobby, that get me off the sofa and out of the house.
