#5 is a photo of a painting i think? First i thought an interesting use of very high ISO but the birds are not degraded much by the (presumably) high ISO.
Only asking, not blaming the photographer, by all means

Many thanks to the few people that voted my picture, in a miriad of really stunning photographs.
It's the first time i participate on the forum, i'm sure i followed all the instructions there. The photo i posted had ~ 900Kb, this one has a mere 157 Kb...
A lot of detail was lost, it seems nothing is in focus in this thumbnail. I am not blaming but merely, if anyone will read this, maybe a moderator, explain why this happened so i know better in the future how to avoid it.
I am aware of the fact that you cannot have, with the many photos entered in the contest, posts with their full size but 157 Kb seems shrinkage taken to extreme

As a beginner i would go for the 20-40 ltd. You will get WR, a bit of versatility focal-wise, a top notch lens and 2.8 max aperture at 20-24 mm end.
You will also want some medium telephoto later.
The 15 mm ltd is a great lens and choice but if you haven't used this focal before you might not like to be limited to it (everything will be pushed quite farther than what you see with your own eyes). On the other hand the 20-40 will be covering a more convenient field of view on your camera.

They are reselling it, in hope of a buyer who has no idea a lens could be decentered. Someone unaware will buy it and live with the idea the lens is like that by nature.
Today the competition is so fierce that having ethics is, sadly, commercial suicide. And it's not only the hungry hyenas in sales' fault but also the customers'.
If you don't mind the hassle, buy it again (and return it again, if it doesn't mean you loosing money). This way you will have an answer and, if there are miracles as some here with faith in humankind :) say, you will have the lens you want, hopefully.

Again, i don't think it has anything to do with Lightroom or it's versions or routing the photo through Lightroom to get that lens info in Flickr.
Same lens that had lens info in Flickr also had Lens correction profile autofilled by LR, if the option was checked.
Same lens that didn't have info in Flickr also needed manual input of lens name in the LR profile correction.
I also don't think it has anything to do with the newer versions of info where somewhat personal data might be stored. A new lens, like the 20-40 ltd. does show it's name in the Flickr postings.

No, it's not by manual input.
Depends on the lens. For some lenses, it seems there is a "special" kind of info in the exif. Example:
DA L 50mm 1.8 does show automatically in Flickr. It also shows automatically in Lightroom 5 if you choose "Lens Profile Correction"
DA 18-55 WR does not show automatically in Flickr. Only the focal length of the photo is listed. In Lightroom, if you choose Lens Correction you must manually choose the lens from the profiles listed, it is not chosen automatically (i.e. instantly recognized) as in the DA L 50mm 1.8 case.
This is why i think it's rather something related to our exif info and not to Flickr and the way it reads some lens profiles from the Exif, since another program fails to instantly recognize that same lens as well.
It is also not a primes being detected vs zooms not, since i do remember seeing photos taken with the DA* 16-50 with the lens listed in Flickr.

Regarding the question: at best you could ask would be "why aps-c" and even there it's debatable (assuming you move pass the kit lens).
To go with the question in the full/medium, format territory.. i will put it on your initial enthusiasm.
Maybe, for the younger generation. Us ol' timers :) (i include myself here a bit forceful) like familiarity. The feel of the camera in the hand, control via buttons etc. It will be very hard to convince us to consider the transition :)

For shots like these (with the DA 50mm at 2.8):
For me personally, it's how i see interesting street photography, but i am aware that taste differes :)
And the lenses recommended here (21ltd, 35 ltd and 35 2.4, 20-40, 40), none of them are really ultra fast.
After much time spent over the lens subject i decided I will never again buy something that won't allow me at least a 2.8 one way or another (like for example the 20-40 is 2.8 only at the wide 20-24-ish mm end)

Sir, get the K-3, you won't regret it.
As for the lens, taking into account what you stated, I would get:
#1 the 35mm ltd. macro (second hand from the forum marketplace),
the DA 35 2.4 if money would be very tight,
#2 a 21 ltd (also second hand) or,with a bigger budget
#3 a 20-40 ltd that would also give you weather sealing.
Small,light lenses that will allow you to want to take out you camera and shoot with it, larger aperture that will allow depth of field control and help when light is scarce, good focal length for the type of photography that interests you, quality rendering, proven over time lenses, decent price for what they offer.

Pentax K-S2 (body only) and DA 35mm 2.4
or for a few $ more the K-70 (latest aps-c model,recently launched). Right now the prices for K-S2 is a tad high. You could see it drop in the following days/weekes.

Allow me to discuss the, otherwise trivial matter, of prices when talking of such beautiful, delicate and precise optical devices, but,,,
If Sony can launch a FF 50mm macro with 500 bucks either the world is coming to an end :) or there are some serious tactical reconsiderations on the market.
and, goes without saying, we hope that we see from Ricoh some really competitive prices, taking all this into consideration *grin*

You are asking this because, probably you want it simple,without complications.
But may I say,do dare and learn to use a PP software (easier than it sounds) and you'll gain much more from it.
You can modify the pictures to your liking, save presets if you don't want to invest time in processing each individual photo and so on.
Learning to develop your photographs from the digital negative will have a positive impact on your photos, at the end of the day.
The only jpg in camera preset that I have saved in my K-3 is this one |

In absolute numbers.. In practice, (to my surprise and due to insufficient optics understanding on my part, i concluded), the gain in terms of close-up between 200 and 300mm on this particular lens is so small at medium to long distances - meaning where you would want use it most - that It's irrelevant. But if I'm mistaken, please feel free to correctify. Is this related to this focus breathing I keep hear mentioning about?

I think, when things are so well stated by the OP in his initial post, Na Horuk's #9 post answers it all. Sir, go in a store and handle the tool!
For almost all modern bodies the technical capabilities are there and then some. We obsess over some petty things.. A smarter thing to do would be to look at the lense ecosystem (and lens prices, and may i personally laugh at Sony in this regard). And at the end of the day, for us - the amateurs (if you'll indulge me), isn't it about knowledge/technique and the joy of going out and capturing the moment in time?!
So, asking how come no one recommends the K-70 is provocative. The man has a more expensive car.
But what good is the best, most expensive car in the world, if you don't enjoy driving it.
