Is there a camera backpack out there that does NOT have a laptop compartment?

There are the backpacks from Nya-Evo. NYA-EVO | Camera Backpacks and they do have an laptop compartment, but it also doubles as a sleeve for a waterbladder.

But secondly, why is it a problem that it has a laptop compartment? You do not need to use it, you can have it empty or use it for something else.
I have backpacks with laptop compartment, and I either fill it with reflector screen (most fits fine), or some extra snacks.

And it can even store GPS, phone etc,. Just because it says laptop compartment, doenst mean that you need to use it for a laptop.

I am also using the benro. I do like it alot. The only issue I have with it is, that the L-plate (from 3Leggedthing) is a bit of a wiggle to get in.

And I am also eyeing for the leofoto one, as it is smaller, so bit easier to pack for traveling.

Just enjoy the game without taking photo's.
Once in a while it will happen, that you can't take photo's. I had a dance contest last weekend, where i was seated in not the best spot for photo's. So I just enjoyed the dancing, and kept the camera in my bag.

Camerabag goes everywhere where I go. But mostly it just has a Q or K01 with one lens in it.

i don't see any telephoto lenses on the list. If you are also interested in Birds, you need at 300mm minimum (200 is doable, but you need patience to let them really, really close to you)

And I would take the K3 (birds etc) and the K1 (landscape etc)

I don't know where you are going. But in Mal-Pais (santa theresa, playa carmen) there are a few hotels that are build bit higher up and you are almost 100% to see monkeys while having breakfast ear;y in the morning.
It is pretty rugged out there, as it is also a nature reserve, so many more animals to be spotted.
Oh and the beach is really nice.

Bag for small prime lenses

It all depends if you want a backpack or a shoulderbag.

I have a Nya-Evo Fjord 26 Sport + RCI-S Starter Kit - NYA-EVO Fjord 26 with the small insert. It will accomdate my k3II with all the Ltd primes (and the 20-40 ltd) So that 6 lenses. A very nice bag, and plenty of room for other stuff 9or bigger insert if needed).
I also have the fjord 36, but that one is just too bulky if you just have small primes (the reason I got the 26 to go next to it).

As for shoulder bags, I would go for one that is around 6 liters. (I use an older shoulder bag which is 5.5 L, but that one is out of production)

It is a nice shot, but I think f8 was too much. Now the rocks and the poles are distracting in the background.

Pentax DA limited 21mm f3.2 and 40mm f2.8 or 20-40mm?

Well, the biggest problem you will have is that when you get the 21, you wish you had gotten the 20-40. Ad when you get the 20-40, you wish you had gotten the 21. ;)

But seriously, both are superb lenses. I do use the 20-40 more often than the 21. As it is just a bit more versitile. But if I want to keep my gear small and light. I will use the 21. (and put another of the limteds in my pocket. Could be the 40, could be the 15 or 70)

So I would say, you want to keep it small and light, get the 21. You want a bit more versatility, get the 20-40 (you just might realize, that you will start using the 40 less)

Europe isn't small, so it all depends where you will be going in Europe. What you want to see, and what you want to take pics off.
So you will firt have to decide what you want to take the pics off. Then you can see which camera (and lenses) to take.

I have to agree, the 150-450 will make it tricky. For my long lenses I use the Clik Elite Escape (no longer new available), but imo the best bag for long lenses. But I also have the https://nya-evo.eu/products/fjord-36-with-rci-unit with the large ICU. It will hold the 150-450. And looking at the other gear all should fit. I also have the medium ICU, which I think will be just too small for the 150-450 (but you will have more space for other stuff). The also have the https://nya-evo.eu/products/fjord-26-s-with-rci-unit . it is smaller, but does take the large ICU, but then there will be not much space left. (if you need more space, there is the https://nya-evo.eu/products/fjord-60-c-with-rci-unit )Both Clik and Nya have a very good fit. They carry well. (another option is the Clik Elite Contrejour, also not available new, but a very fine bag)

Not for everybody. And not all the same colors.

But on the photo,
I like the color one better. the sepia (in this case), feels like a trick.

I do not really like it, the focus is wrong. The breaking wave is out of focus, and that is your focal point, so that is what should be in focus.

This does not compare to LR, it really is a photoshop alternative.
I havent found a goof alternative yet for LR that works for me. But then again, as I use DNG files, i still use LR6.

But I do have Affinity if I need more than LR can give me. And as I only use it a few times a year, the deal is much better than PS.

You see almost nothing to nothing. So you use live-view. But if it is too dark or so. You first do the composition with another lens, then you put the pinhole on it. Yes using pinhole does slow you down.
