A nice cool dive off the Breakwater last week was the result in a few nice pictures of the colourful underwater world.
I have a Canon G9 in a Canon housing...this is one of the pictures I was rewarded with! I thought it suited this months theme of "Orange".

Hmmmm, I'll have to pay closer attention to that!!! Could it really be that simple? (I hope so!!!). Just my lack of co-ordination!!! (That would NOT suprise me one little bit!!!). :)

I got a nice shiny new battery grip for my K10D at Christmas {(among a pile of other cool Pentax goodies!!!) (Gotta love my wife!!!)}.
Things seem to be working fine...except...when I want to review my pictures, the controls work very eratically when the battery grip is turned on...and sometimes the pictures won't even display at all...and then if they do, it seems like it shuts off as soon as I move the camera...do I have a ghost in the machine???
Anyone else having the same or similar problem?
Any help would be appreciated!!!

I've been taking pictures for many years, but it seems like they lack that "SNAP" and the "WOW" factor...I've gotten compliments on some of my shots, but still looking for that sharpness and perfect lighting. I only thought the course might help me find that. I'll look for the book you mentioned...
I'm kind of in the middle of no where working...and only get home to the island for a few days of the month. No photo courses up here in Northern Alberta!!!
Maybe I'll try the forum here first. :^) Get some opinions on my pix.

Hello everyone/anyone!
I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this thread, but what the heck...here goes nothing!!!
I've been considering ordering the NYIP course. Has anyone done this course? Did it meet your expectations?
I'm a bit curious and hesitant about an online course in photography. Any opinions would be appreciated.
The price seems to be reasonable as well? But is it really worth it?
Maybe this subject has been flogged to death in another area???

Hello everyone! Yep, another newbie here...looking to get and share information. Been into photography for a long time, but now it's time to take it to the next level! Both above the water, and under the water!!!
I've got a Pentax Optio W30...which I think is great! Also a Sony A-100, and I'm now looking at trading it in for the K10D...looks like an awesome camera!
Has anyone heard of putting a Pentax into an underwater housing? I've looked at the Ikelite website and it appears they don't make housings for Pentax cameras. I've sent off an e-mail to them, no response yet.
Any information would be appreciated!!!
